The driveway was too steep and awkward to manoeuvre so we had to park our vehicles outside, but the area is safe

This house is truly a wonderful place to stay, especially for groups or families traveling together. The space is generous, thoughtfully equipped, and perfect for sharing special moments with the people you love. The view is simply breathtaking, without a doubt the most magical part of the experience. Sitting there and enjoying the scenery makes you slow down and truly appreciate the moment. The owners were incredibly kind, attentive, and always available for any questions or concerns at any time. They were consistently thoughtful and made sure every detail was taken care of, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything about the house is perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, beautiful views, and a memorable experience

The only small challenge is the steep driveway at the entrance for cars, which just requires a bit of extra care.

Title: A Traumatic Experience: Rats, Rot, and Verbal Abuse The Nightmare at Casa Galetti What was supposed to be a peaceful two-day retreat in Hartbeespoort (Dec 15–16) turned into the most distressing experience of my life. For a stay costing R 8,000, one expects hospitality and hygiene; instead, we were met with a property in decay and a host who is dangerously hostile. The Reality of the Property The moment we settled in, the "luxury" facade crumbled. The kitchen was a health hazard—we discovered rotten items left behind and appliances so dirty they were unusable. As night fell, the situation turned skin-crawling. The sound of rats scratching frantically in the roof kept us awake, and by morning, we watched in horror as they scurried along the walls of the yard. The house was also heavily infested with insects, making it impossible to feel comfortable or clean. Hostility and Harassment When I reached out to the host to provide constructive feedback, hoping for a professional resolution, the situation turned volatile. Rather than taking accountability, she launched into a series of verbal attacks. She was not only disrespectful to me as a paying guest but was openly abusive toward her own employee in our presence. As I realized she was incapable of professional communication, I chose to stop responding to her insults. This is when the experience turned from unpleasant to frightening. She began sending threatening messages, harassing me to the point where we felt physically unsafe on the property. A Final Warning My biggest mistake was not reading the previous reviews. Had I done my due diligence, I would have seen the patterns of behavior. No guest should ever be "abused" by a business owner, especially after paying premium rates. This lady has no concept of customer service and, frankly, seems unfit to run a public-facing business. I am shocked that Booking.com continues to list this property.

The property is spacious. We were a group of 5 and we never felt like there wasn't enough room. The views are stunning! Make sure to set an alarm for sunrise for a breathtaking start to your day.

The tiled driveway is very steep, and slippery when it rains. Passengers might need to walk up to the house in some cases. There's also only 2 proper parking spaces, but 3 cars can squeeze in at a push.
