The bed was quite comfy. The bedroom looked mostly (albeit certainly not fully) like the pictures but it did not make up for the rest of the horrible appartment.

1st, if you arrive via uber, you have to put in "bloc 49" to arrive at the correct location, otherwise you are being driven to a very dangerous area - probably ubers fault, not the apartments. But just so you know. The building the appartment is in is a "commie block". You can look at it in Google Street view and already see a far-progressed state of deterioration. I have visited around 35 countries & this was pretty bad. Seemed like South East Asia, not Europe. I basically did not want to touch the house door or the elevator door, as they looked disgusting. Never stayed in such a place in 10 years of using booking.com. The non-renovated parts of Warsaw, like Praga Poludnie are in better condition. Once you make it to the appartment, you are welcomed by an extremely strong chemical smell. I quickly found the culprits - mostly some super heavily smelling fragrance sticks in the Kitchen. I put the sticks into a closed cupboard during my 1 night stay (I arrived late and couldnt change my appartment anymore, but changed right the next day). This made things a little better- but now you could smell the mouldy smell that they tried to hide with the chemicals! The kitchen looked like a 1975 Moscow / Bucharest kitchen - never renovated. Personally, I wouldnt wanna prepare any meal there. Please refer to the picture. The bathroom was worse. Not only did it also have a 70s/80s look, it also had diverse cracks and was clearly DIRTY, as you can see from the pictures. I didnt dare showering there. After 1 night, I left. I offered the host to pay for the first 2 nights despite the horrible experience & only staying 1. They replied professionally, but behind their professionaly worded replies, they were being very uncompromising and did not offer more than 250 lei - instead of the 300 € (1500 lei) I asked for. As I had to rebook another flat on booking, I have basically lost this money &didnt get an adequate value for my money at all.
