The Espiritu

Our room was very clean and comfortable with a good shower, A/C and fast WiFi, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and it’s in an ideal location for exploring Luganville!

Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the pool for most of our stay due to a private event, which was disappointing as it looked lovely. Also the TV only had a few limited local channels

Room was quiet enough, has aircon, and bed ok. Good shower. Free pool table near reception. The swimming pool area looked nice but didn't use it.

Unfortunately the hotel restaurant had no tables available for lunch the day we arrived - tables were apparently booked out for mother's day brunch. Staff suggested a cafe over the road but it wasn't open. (If you're arriving at meal-time we'd suggest you check before arrival and see if you can book a table - otherwise try to eat before you arrive or bring your own food!) It was also hard to get something to drink while we waited for our 2pm check in; we asked for a drink at the bar (called 'The Tu') - they told us to go to the other bar by reception. Ordered there, waited 20 minutes for our drinks, then they told us we should've gone to the other bar (where we went first). Breakfast is included, but it's only a basic choice & not much in quantity.

Francis was very informative on the drive in,, helpful check in staff, as was all others. Proprietor took special interest following an incident away from the hotel. Certainly would stay again.

Can't think of anything

Great central location. Staff were great and made us feel very welcome. Price included good breakfast with fruit. Room on 3rd floor had view to Aore. Diving arranged inside reception.

Noise from street/ nearby bar. Only happened one night and sounded like fun, but went through until after 4am.

Great food at the restaurant. Hotel was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Good reliable internet.

There is nothing I didn't like

The dinning area next to the pool and the friendly staff

That i was not picked up at the airport. But the hotel did give me a desert to make up for it and apologies.
