USThe breakfast was delicious, served by the most friendly staff, and enjoyed in beautifully frescoed dining rooms! The staff was extremely warm and welcoming! Hotel Orazio is a wonderful place in the heart of beautiful, historic Venosa! The views from the covered balcony of the Basilicata countryside and bell tower were memorable and relaxing! The room was very clean as well!

breakfast is very local, only one type of cheese and a few types of biscuits. Breakfast should be more varied. Especially for Italy, I would expect olives, olive oil and greens in the breakfast.
USElegant accommodations in a historic palazzo within walking distance of the castle as well as the Roman archaeological site. The room was spacious and well furnished, a buffet breakfast was provided in a beautiful dining room. This breakfast offered the BEST cappuccino of all the many hotels we’ve stayed in Italy. The parking is right in front of the building. Highly recommend and would stay here again!
