CAThe location is good, within walking distance of both the city centre and the archeological park. The staff were friendly and helpful, although little English was spoken when I was there. If you come by bus (the train station is closed so there is no train to Venosa), note that the bus stops outside the closed train station which several kilometres down the hill from the city centre, so make sure you have arranged transport from the bus stop up to the city.
