Triplex & Rooftop Maison Mamdy

We had a wonderful stay at Younes’s place and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base. The house itself is excellent - clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home straight away. Everything we needed was provided, and the space felt both cosy and practical. The rooftop is the highlight. The location is also a real highlight, with easy access to nearby amenities and transport, making it very convenient for getting around. Also parking is available just outside the house. Younes was an exceptional host throughout our stay. He was warm, kind, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. He made us feel very welcome when visiting a new place - we felt the hospitality from local Tunisians. Communication was smooth and prompt, and his hospitality genuinely made a difference to our overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends. We would certainly love to return on a future visit.

There's no lift so you have to climb stairs with your luggages - but it's worth staying the rooms and rooftop are comfy the host is awesome.

Accueil très agréable et grande propreté de l’établissement géré par le propriétaire qui habite au rez de chaussée. Le Rooftop est très sympa.

Le matelas était un peu trop ferme et le flexible de douche demande à être changé.

Wat een pareltje! Erg sfeervol en gezellig ingericht appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. Op 15min rijden van het centrum van Marrakesh. Het rooftop terras is een heerlijke plek. Gastheer Younes is geweldig!

It was Exceeding Expectation, to sum up our experience. I would say one of the best places we have ever stayed in any country. Ours was a big family group of 9 with kids and grand parents. The house in 2 floors was really good and well maintained with a Rooftop having beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains. Enough Bedrooms/ bathrooms for our big group. All bedrooms having quality air conditioning. Neighbourhood, peace and quiet with a shop to buy essentials and Pharmacy very near by too. This is outside of the city limits (approx. 7 Kms) and so there is a bit of struggle to get Taxis, but there is an App with which you can get Taxis. My advise would be to get some Taxi contacts handy when you reach Marrakech or get a car rental. Younes, the host was a gem of a person who was available anytime we need. He cooked excellent Moroccan breakfast (mostly different Moroccan breads, crepes, jam, cheese, egg) every day and even woke up early morning to cook when we had early morning trips. All this while he was down under the weather, bless him!. For one day when he was not able to do breakfast for us, he send us a cake as an apology. We had a medical emergency in the middle of the night and he helped call a Taxi to the Hospital and also offered help in buying medicines from Pharmacy. As mentioned above calling Taxis was a struggle. However Younes will be there for any of your asks, including Taxis. Just ask him and he will get one for you provided you tell him in advance. Despite the medical emergency, we had a wonderful time in Marrakech and with Younes at his beautiful house. Thanks.

Absolutely Nothing!

Ich konnte das Rooftop bis zur Abreise am nächsten Tag wunderbar nutzen und habe mich als alleinreisende Frau jederzeit absolut sicher gefühlt. Das Auto lässt sich direkt vor der Tür parken. Die Unterkunft ist ein Art Reihenhaus. Der freundliche Vermieter Younes lebt mit seiner Frau im Erdgeschoss. Eine Etage darüber befindet sich ein vollständig abgeschlossener Wohnbereich mit Esszimmer, Küche, Bad und zwei Schlafzimmern. Noch eine Etage höher liegen zwei weitere Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Ebenfalls abschließbar falls erforderlich. Im dritten Stock gelangt man zum uneinsehbaren Rooftop, das exklusiv genutzt werden kann – ein großer Pluspunkt. Das haus ist einfach im typischen marokkanischen still eingerichtet. Nein Bett im zweiten stock lag ruhig und war sehr bequem. Harte Matratze. Nicht durchgelegen. Gerade bei Rückenschmerzen wichtig! Da am Folgetag keine weitere Buchung anstand, durfte ich später auschecken, was ich als sehr entgegenkommend empfunden habe. Ich blieb eine Nacht und wählte die Unterkunft aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen. Ca. 5 km Fahrzeiten nach Verkehr 15-25 min. Mit dem Auto ist man in etwa 20 Minuten an der Koutoubia-Moschee und am Place El Fna. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt bietet die Unterkunft ein gutes, typisch marokkanisches Ambiente in einem normalen angenehmen Wohnviertel. Vielen Dank an Younes und seine Frau für ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück wurde mir angeboten, ich habe es jedoch nicht genutzt. Im Kühlschrank in der Küche waren frische Minze, Brot, Käse, Honig, Marmelade – vorbereitet für das einfache marokkanische Frühstück. Ich habe mir am morgen einen Tee und einen Kaffee selbst gekocht, diese waren im Haus vorhanden. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, Younes spricht gut Englisch, antwortet schnell und gab mir hilfreiche Restaurantempfehlungen in der Nähe. Sehr faires Preis /Leistungsverhältnis. Vielen Dank für den freundlichen Aufenthalt.

La maison est très joli, décoré avec des meubles beldi, immersion dans le charme marocain, avec des mur en tedlack. Très calme, super appréciable après un journée à Marrakech. Les volets aux fenêtres, assez rare au Maroc pour être souligné. Ma maison dispose de tout le confort et d’un Super rooftop. Pas eut le temps d’en profiter cette fois , mais on fera mieux la prochaine fois. La navette super pratique et qui nous évite de se prendre la tête à négocier un taxi ( une vraie plaie à Marrakech !!! ) Et cerise sur le gâteau , Younes est super Sympa !!! On se reverra , c’est certain !

Die Unterkunft war einfach super. Mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Sie lag extrem günstig, um die Medina von Marrakesch zu besuchen. Der Garten von Andre Heller war ebenfalls nur ein " Steinwurf" entfernt. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

War ein wenig schlecht zu finden. Lag vielleicht auch an unserer Müdigkeit, waren schon etwas länger unterwegs. Das Verkehrschaos tat noch sein Übriges hinzu.

L'objectif était de trouver un hebergement pour 5 personnes pas trop loin de l'aéroport (car arrivée tardive) et de pouvoir repartir en RoadTrip le lendemain matin sans loger au centre de Marrakech... c'était parfait! Malgré notre arrivée très tardive, Younes nous à accueilli et nous à préparé le thé. La maison est très bien décorée et très calme. Nous avons passé une excellente nuit. Merci Younes! Je recommande dans ce genre de cas.
