Triplex & Rooftop Maison Mamdy

Staying at Maison Mamdy Rooftop was one of the most heartwarming and memorable parts of our trip to Morocco. From the very first moment, the host Younes made us feel like part of his own family. He is not only extremely welcoming and kind, but also genuinely caring—always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time, both at his place and throughout our travels in Morocco. Younes went above and beyond, giving us fantastic local advice on where to eat and visit nearby. His hospitality was exceptional, from the delicious breakfasts (a real treat for anyone with a sweet tooth!) to the thoughtful gesture of arranging an early breakfast on the day we started our desert tour. We were also able to leave our car safely near the house with no issues at all, which was a big relief compared to the hectic and sometimes stressful parking situation in the Medina center. The house itself is calm, clean, and very comfortable—a peaceful contrast to the busier parts of Marrakech. If you're traveling with a car, this is truly the ideal place to stay. The area may seem quiet and a bit under construction in parts, but it felt completely safe, and we had no problems at all. There’s even a big shopping mall with a large supermarket just 10 minutes away by car, which was very convenient. The rooftop view of the Atlas Mountains was breathtaking, and sitting there in the mornings or evenings was simply magical. Every detail of our stay was filled with warmth, and Younes and his family gave us a beautiful introduction to the genuine kindness and hospitality of Moroccan people. We are deeply thankful to Younes—his kindness and generosity truly touched our hearts. This was not just a place to sleep, but an experience we will always carry with us. One of the best memories from our entire trip!

The only small recommendation we’d give to future guests is to double-check the location of the house with any shuttle or transfer services, as there could be some confusion.

Muy amplio, pero hay que tener en cuenta que tiene muchas escaleras, decorado con mucho gusto,, limpio, con aire acondicionado en habitaciones y sala. terraza amplia . Destacar la amabilidad del dueño. Atento en todo momento a lo que puedas necesitar .

The house is beautiful, the rooms super well decorated and comfortable beds, the rooftop spectacular, and the best part was how we were welcome and treated and guided before and throughout the stay. It was our baby girls Bday and since we were arriving late the night before we were not able to buy/prepare any surprise for her, so Younes filled the house with balloons for our arrival and brought a delicious cake for breakfast. Couldn't be more thankful for this beautiful soul we found far from home... regarding logistics, It's only a 12 min drive to the airport and 10-12 more to the center. A real oasis close to the Medina. And you can safely park your car in front the house!

To leave the place... Though we will come back!

I hadn’t realized how far it was from main attractions in Marrakech, which was good but you need to budget in taxi fares. Host was great organizing taxis.

Amazing host! Yousaff was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was sparkling clean and exactly as described. Highly recommend
