Tropical Garden Homestay Pidurangala

Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam und kümmern sich sofort um jegliches Anliegen. Wir haben auch unsere Wäsche abgegeben und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten mit Blick ins Grüne. Außerdem haben wir abends einmal dort gegessen und das Essen war super! Genauso wie das Frühstück :) Zusammenfassung: wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen!!

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, wir haben uns wie ein Teil der Familie gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und das selbst gekochte Essen von der Mutter der Familie war fantastisch. Das Homestay liegt nur 20 min zu Fuß vom Pidurangala Rock entfernt. Die Lage mitten im Dschungel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Danke!!!

Es gab keine Klimaanlage und das WLAN war nicht so gut. Wir fanden beides nicht schlimm, weil das Zimmer durch den Ventilator nachts trotzdem kühl war und digital detox auch mal gut tut.

Super friendly and accommodating. Got us on safari same day. Clean and hot shower and clean room. Good home made food.

Very nice experience, the family owning the place is very nice and welcoming, they will do everything so you are comfortable, and the room was also clean. We had a good srilankan breakfast

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is fantastic if you’re into hiking or exploring nature. Pidurangala Rock is just around the corner – perfect if you want to catch the sunrise – and Hurulu Eco Park is also nearby. I went on a safari there and were lucky enough to see wild elephants, which was an unforgettable experience. The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. It’s a simple place, but you feel at ease right away. What made the stay even better was the staff. Everyone was super kind and helpful, and they were happy to give advice or help organize trips. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot close to nature with lots to do nearby, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Location and garden is great, breakfast was good, host is very welcoming and they can give you a ride with tuk tuk. Only bad thing is no A/C, but we already knew that.

We chose to stay here because of its close location to Pedurangala rock. The host family were super friendly and gave us a lift in their tuk tuk to the rock early in the morning for sunrise and when we arrived home we had a delicious breakfast with fresh juices. The garden is gorgeous and peaceful. On our first night there we also ordered the vegetable curry for dinner and it was amazing - the mum is a wonderful cook!

The WiFi didn’t have the best signal and sometimes didn’t work but otherwise was a lovely stay with a very friendly and helpful family

Highly recommend this stay! The family was so nice to us. Great room with fan and good breakfast. Also they took us early morning to the pidurangala rock because of the wild elephants (500 LKR). Thanks again!

We had a very nice stay with this friendly family in pidurangala. Stay is very close (2km) to the pidurangala rock. Nice and quite garden and delicious diner! Room was okay for good price. Comfortable bed and shower. Good to know that there is no AC during the night but we could handle it.
