Fridis&Chill

Ļoti gaumīgi iekārtots, tīrs, gandrīz par pilnīgi visu padomāts. Pieejamas dažādas tējas, kafijas automāts, visi virtuves piederumu, pannas un katli, eļļa- izcils nodrošinājums. Vienīgi halāti pietrūka un pilnai laimei kādu mazāku apgaismojumu vannasistabā prasītos, priekš sēdēšana vannā.

Lietainā laikā no stāvvietas sanāk iet pa zāli līdz namiņam, apavi paliek slapji. Mazliet jocīgi likās tas, ka logi ir tonēti, bet tā, ka no iekšas tumsā neko tu neredzi, kas notiek ārā, bet no āras ir redzams pilnīgi viss, prasītos, lai ir otrādāk, bet tas ļoti netraucēja.

The seclusion, the forest views, the bathroom, the sauna, the overall comfort...

Nothing - it was wonderful (except we failed the where are the garden furniture cushions test) :)

Stayed only 1 night in August and the whole family loved it. Lovely immaculate cabin with everything we needed (including mosquito spray!) Plenty of outside seating in different places around the small lake. Sauna was great (book in advance) and we all swam in the lake despite being a bit murky! Communication with the owner was easy and we felt it was great value.

Tiny point but perhaps add a table by the BBQ

Frīdis aka houseowner super nice guy; premesis were clean and about everything was tought about, like, if you want to grill - you just need a meat what you want to grill - everything else was already there. Also random herbal teas for the sauna and home made welcome snacks from the owner. Super nice place, recommend! Nice, comfortable and peacfull place. A+++

Everything was awsome

Everything. The cabin was spotless, beautifully built, and located right by a calm pond. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind. The design felt warm and modern, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. Easily a highlight of our trip.

Nothing about the stay itself. Just a fair warning: Latvian nature in summer is intense. Mosquitoes, deer flies, and horse flies are relentless. You absolutely need bug spray if you plan to spend time outside. Without it, you are going to get eaten alive.
