"Very basic"

Breakfast was tasty. Hosts were pleasant. Near to beach.

I do not know how this property can be listed as superb on this site - it is the most basic place I have stayed in for a long time.. AC was not available. Furnishings were minimal - no where to put your clothes. Pillows were thin and soft. Property is difficult to access by car, but host did move our bags in his tuk tuk. Overpriced - we have stayed in much nicer places in Sri Lanka for less money.

Private home nestled in the jungle across from the river and a 1 minute walk to the beach. Owners were very sweet and gave juice on arrival.

"Very good guesthouse with the best location"

The location is perfect! Only about 50 meters from the beach. We were welcomed with a coconut drink, really nice. The bed is good and FINALLY a soft pillow, really loved that. The room is spacious and has a nice little kitchen. The shower is powerfull. There's a hammock outside, a tap to wash sand off your feet and a line to hang the laundry.

The only thing is that it's quite close to Dots, where they have live music in Tuesday and Saturday. For us it was fine as we could sleep with ear plugs but if you're looking for full quiet, this might nog be the place if you stay during one of these days.

"Exceptional"

The location was perfect, hidden in the trees by the lagoon but only a minute's walk from the beach. The owners were a delight. They brought me large Sri Lankan breakfasts every morning and cooked a fabulous dinner for me one evening. Lots of wildlife seen from the house including toque macaques and a giant squirrel. Perfect!!

An amazing place, with amazing host(s). The great mixture of utter kindness and helpfulness from Lalitha and his family made my stay fabulous!! It is a great escape, right next to the beach, really nicely priced, and I can only recommend it wholeheartedly!!
