The apartment is beautiful and surprisingly large. The location is amazing: just on the cathedral square. WeI loved the terrace.

It would be useful to have an information booklet about the apartment.

This apartment was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The rooftop terrace is a great spot to relax with a glass of wine and just take in the beauty of the surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and authentic homely feel.

This location on the St. Marteen Piazza was amazing. Opening the bedroom window to overlook the piazza was incredible. The garden and terrace overlooking the garden was stunning, we sat there and drank the bottle of wine the host left for us and snacked on appetizers overlooking the garden and Duomo. It's a quiet piazza, but everything is just steps away from this apartment and it's just in the wall of Lucca, so convenient to walk to or take a cab from the train station. We flew into Pisa, which was an easy and small airport to fly into with an easy train trip to Lucca. The apartment is artistically classical and vintage and provided us a very unique experience to live like a local. The host was easily accessible and responsive via WhatsApp and met us to let us into the apartment and give us a tour of the unit. Lucca is such a stunning village, I would for sure come back to Lucca and stay in this apartment. Next time I'll plan it around the summer concert series or a quiet time of year. So Lucca is super crowded during the summer concert series, so very vibrant, alive and fun. If you want to experience it when it's quiet, I'd travel here during the spring or fall.

The kitchen was ok. But with all the amazing cafe's and restaurants in Lucca, we weren't planning on cooking anyway.

Absolutely stunning views and perfect location

No aircon in second room

Fantastic place in a great location with very friendly and helpful owners who are nearby if you need anything. I would highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Lucca, well worth the money. The apartment is just like the photos with very comfy beds. There is air conditioning in the main bedroom, and just outside the second bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking (with salt, pepper, oil and vinegar provided) and a bottle of wine was given on arrival. The private balcony really made our stay, lovely for having a glass of wine and dinner listening to the opera next door!
