Really comfy bed, super clean, excellent AC, decent kitchen, lovely big terraces and balconies, this place is really excellent value if you’re staying in Jaffna.

Very comfortable bed, with amazing AC. Beautiful different terraces, especially the roof top where you have breakfast. It was also nice to be able to fill up our water bottles.

The staff didn’t really speak English, so we couldn’t really connect and ask for recommendations/advices. The hotel is located next to the train track, so be prepared to be woken up around 04:00 each morning by the train horn (quite scary the first time, when you’re not expecting it). Bathroom could be way cleaner (we also had two cockroaches but that’s quite normal for Sri Lanka).

It was so delicious. One of the nicest I’ve had in SL.

That he came to get me on his bicycle. That he loaned me an adapter so I could charge my phone and when I went to return it he said I could keep it but I didn't.

The room was horrible. Very unwelcoming, no water bottle let alone tea or coffee. The bathroom, shared by 4 rooms, I think, was filthy. The tap was disgusting and I think there were 4 men using it and two women. I have travelled solo and stayed in accommodation in 30+ countries and I compare this to the worst which was in China. I'm 76 years old and riding a motor scooter around Sri Lanka I have stayed in 4 other places, 3 of which were fabulous and the 4th okay. Also the 'garden' is a strip of weeds. It looks great as you drive in but I was allocated a room in a sqalid corner of the servants quarters. This was my first booking through Booking.com.
