Morika Villa

Everything was amazing and it almost felt like we were in a private villa (saw 3 other guests at some points). You can see sunrise from your bed. The room was spotless and had flowers upon arrival. There was a shared living room with a full kitchen. We loved the food at the restaurant. The hosts Fifi and Ririn were amazing- always greeting us (even at 6:00 AM), giving us tips. The staff was very professional and friendly. Not everyone on the island speaks English, so that was crucial. They gave us contact information for scooter rental, airport transfer and a guide. Beware the false other locations on google maps, Villa Morika is located by the sea (the one with most reviews). If your driver also cant find it, write Fifi and Ririn on Whatsapp (they are very responsive). We liked the location, as we could drive with the scooter to surf beach and most tourist spots. Our tip- if you want to chill at your room and just use the kitchen, buy alcoholic beverages at Bali airport, as there are no alcohol stores on the island. Small grocery stores, more cafes, souvenir shops and ATM is a 30 min drive. Or just use the restaurant- they have everything.

Absolutely everything! Stunning location with amazing sunrises, the unit was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. The staff were stunningly extraordinary. Best ever! Will absolutely return.

I had such a fabulous stay here. The staff are all absolutely adorable and kind and super attentive. Thank you Ririn and Fifi and Desna and all! My room was spotless and the bed very comfortable and the view was spectacular. there is a lovely outside bathroom. The pool was really fantastic, and you could look out over at the stunning view to the beach and hills beyond. The water really warm and I swam a lot even though I'm not normally a pool person. You can walk down to the beach below either via the rocks which are a little bit slippery or a shortcut through the forest. The beach is really wonderful.. On a Sunday, all the locals come down and train their horses, swim, and surf and I've never seen so many happy people in my life! It was wonderful to get a taste of the local culture . I did a tour to Ririn's local traditional village, which I highly recommend. Much better than the other traditional village where you have to pay an entrance which was not so special at all. The tour took us to some of the beaches which were glorious. All in all, this is a fabulous place to stay and all the people who work here made it really special. I appreciated the water filter in the kitchen next to the room!

Although they went out of their way to make me some vegan dishes, it would be good if these were part of the everyday menu. The shampoo and body gel product does absolutely not match the quality of this hotel. They really need to provide decent shampoo and soap! Not that it mattered very much, but I found it challenging to get Wi-Fi anywhere outside the Restaurant area.
