Wij voelden ons hier helemaal thuis! Het personeel is echt fantastisch! De villa's zijn van alle gemakken voorzien en zien er luxe uit. De gedeelde woonkamer in het midden is super handig. Je hebt een volledige keuken tot je beschikking. Het zwembad met het uitzicht is adembenemend! Ik kan het iedereen aanraden om hier te verblijven!

De weg ernaartoe is wat uitdagend, maar ook dat past bij dit eiland en het heeft zo ook zijn charme.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiornodi 4 giorni, meraviglioso! Lo staff è stato eccezionale: accogliente, sempre disponibile e davvero cordiale, facendoci sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. La cucina è stata una vera scoperta — piatti deliziosi, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e grande cura nei dettagli. Ogni pasto è stato un piacere! La posizione è fantastica perche isolata e immersa nel silenzio, comoda per visitare se si Nolleggia uno scooter o con driver organizzato dallo staff, la zona e con una vista mozzafiato che rende ogni momento speciale, soprattutto al sorgere del sole. Un’esperienza impeccabile sotto ogni punto di vista. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque voglia vivere un soggiorno rilassante, autentico e di altissimo livello.

Staying at Villa Morika was one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after you leave. We didn’t just fall in love with the place, we fell in love with Sumba itself. And that happened because of the incredible staff. From the very first moment, we were welcomed not as guests, but as family. The team here doesn’t just take care of you, they share their world with you. They taught us about Sumba culture, traditions, the local language, the stories behind the land, and the spirit of the island. Every conversation felt meaningful, warm, and genuine. It is difficult to put into words how deeply this touched us. The villa itself was stunning, beautifully designed, cozy, and spotlessly clean. Waking up to the open horizon and the sound of nature felt like a dream. The atmosphere is peaceful and pure in a way that is hard to find anywhere else. The beauty of Villa Morika is undeniable, the views, the sunrises, the raw nature, the deep silence. But what makes this place truly unforgettable is the heart behind it. The staff cooked for us with so much love, guided us with patience, laughed with us, and created moments that felt almost sacred. We have traveled to many places in the world, but Sumba is special. Villa Morika is special. And the people here are the reason. We are leaving with full hearts, deeper understanding, and the feeling of having gained something meaningful. We already know that we will come back. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything. You gave us a piece of Sumba that we will carry forever.

Molt tranquil, vistes increïbles. Personal molt amable

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme, l’accueil du personnel, le confort du bungalow, la piscine. La partie salon/cuisine pour éventuellement cuisiner était très pratique. Magnifie vu sur la mer et le lever du soleil est sublime. Le restaurant et les petits déjeuners sont très bons. Nous avons d’ailleurs beaucoup apprécié l’espace restaurant.

Les prix restent chers pour l’Indonésie. C’est assez isolé, dc pas le choix de prendre, soit un chauffeur privé, ou louer un scooter pour faire les alentours, où les prix pratiqués sont encore une fois trop élevés pour l’Indonésie.

Neue, super saubere Zimmer. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Belange in sehr kurzer Zeit. Sie haben uns zum Abschied noch Kaffee aus Sumba mitgegeben, wir waren sehr begeistert. Die Anlage ist neu und sehr sauber, der Pool ist auch toll, aber warm, weil den ganzen Tag der Sonne ausgesetzt. Das Essen ist hervorragend und nur zu empfehlen.

Es ist eine Betonlandschaft und es gibt überhaupt keinen Schatten. Das Fehlen von gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln auf der großen Fläche, machte es doch ungemütlich. Preis/ Leistung nicht so gut.
