Garden Court

We spent an unforgettable week at this beautiful self-catering unit, a charming old house bursting with character and surrounded by a stunning garden filled with massive trees, chirping birds, and an exquisite pool. It was the perfect setting for our family Christmas holiday, with three generations under one roof. Bryan, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and special - he reached out before our arrival to understand our needs and even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree waiting for us, making it feel truly like home. The friendly staff, especially Paul, made the experience even better; by the time we left, it felt like saying goodbye to a friend. Every detail was thought through, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made our holiday magical. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!

While our stay was wonderful overall, one small point to note is the proximity to the university entrance gate. The location is convenient, but it does come with some noise from the security staff, especially during early morning shift changes. While this didn’t significantly impact our experience, light sleepers might prefer to bring earplugs for added comfort. That said, the positives of the property far outweigh this minor inconvenience!

We had a wonderful stay at Garden Court. This is a very special place and really feels like home. The home and gardens are beautiful. The room we stayed in was immaculate with great quality linen - and probably the best bed we’ve ever slept in. The service is fantastic - we’ll definitely be back.

Value for money. Very interesting facility to stay in and in safe area. Enjoyed the hospitality and kindness of the staff. Enjoyed talking to Paul and the good introduction we received on arrival.
