La maison est grande ! On y était pas du tout à l’étroit à 4. Il y a beaucoup d’équipements qui offre tout le confort moderne. On s’y est senti bien. Et c’est très bien placé !

Il manque un petit coin salon ou s’assoir confortablement tous ensemble plutôt qu’à la table. Attention au dos sensibles et aux sommeil léger : Les matelas sont spartiates et la maison est à côté des rails. La maison est toutefois bien insonorisée mais mettre des boulequies à disposition serait un plus. Une des deux chambres est tres petite par rapport à l’autre.

Location, seems like a typical small Japanese house with tatami sleeping, well equipped, responsive host.

Just watch out for the steep stairs and only one toilet in the ground floor - it is typical in Japan, but a Westerner who is not in the best shape or needs to use a toilet often during the night might find it problematic. We were fine though. The house is about 50m away from the Shinkansen track but the occasional noise was acceptable, even romantic iif you like trains, we were disturbed by night reparations of the track for about two evenings but the workers had to do their job and it wasn’t so bad after all.
