Homestay tay

We had a lovely time with Tay, she takes very good care of her guests and is very welcoming! The place is very calm and relaxing. We enjoyed a lot fishing and also to spend time and eat with the family. The price is flexible as it depends on what options you want to add (with or without AC, dinner/lunch, etc.), but not expensive in regards of the quality of the stay and the kindness of the host. Cannot recommend enough this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet, not far from Sai Gon!

I visited Homestay Tây on my first night out of Saigon. I initially planned on only spending one night, but the family was so amazing I decided to stay two. I would have stayed longer if I had time. Ngọc Anh and her family made me feel welcome the moment I arrived. The room is basic but was clean and had good a/c, if you choose to use it. They fed me well both nights and each day, the second night making Báhn xèo, one of my favorite Viet dishes. The second day, Ngọc Anh showed me a local waterfall, then we stopped for me to buy a tree which I planted in their garden. They have two adorable kitties and three dogs, plus goats, chickens, and even a monkey! Nature is abundant and it is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Do yourself a favor and stay a night (or two!) You will not regret it.

My family and I (2 parents and two kids) had the loveliest time with Ngoc Anh and her family! It was a definite highlight of our 5 weeks in Vietnam. The rooms are bright, private and comfortable with good AC. Anh’s mother is an exceptional chef and she was on a mission to help us discover Vietnam’s most popular dishes. I’ve eaten many banana flower salads and a few Vietnamese pancakes since, in various restaurants, and none came even close to hers! There are cats, dogs and more to play with, and Anh’s super sweet 5 yo kiddo as well. We felt at home here, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a slice of real life in Vietnam. We liked everything here! Just be aware that if you don’t come with your own bike/vehicle, it’s not walking distance to any shops, ATMs or restaurants. So bring what you need.

It‘s a great stop if you‘re going by bike/scooter. A quiet place in the nature. The place is very close to a nationalpark with a big lake. When you look outside of your window you can see the beautiful lake from the homestay. The family is very welcoming and I felt well behaved! We ate a lot of fruits from their garden together. They showed me how to cook typical vietnamese food. Na‘s mother always cooked very delicious vegetarian food for me. I really enjoyed to stay there and it was very hard to leave. Can really recommend to everyone to stay here.

This is so much more than just a homestay ❤️ Anh and her family are so lovely, make you feel at home, and include you in life on their farm. Staying here is an experience in itself and I recommend anyone to stop here for at least a couple of nights before continuing on your journey. One of the most authentic experiences on my trip.. picking veg from the farm, cooking different dishes together, eating fresh fruit everyday, trips into town to the local markets, and so many beautiful spots around their property to hang out and relax. So nice to be away from touristy areas in the beautiful countryside. The room is really spacious, and I loved waking up to the view of the lake just in front of the window. I ended up staying 5 nights here, and would even have stayed longer if I had the time. Next time I'm in the south of Vietnam I will definitely be back again. Thank you Anh for all the sweet conversations we shared and for your amazing hospitality. I urge anyone considering staying here to just go for it, you will not regret it ❤️

The family was very welcoming. I ended up staying an extra day just to talk and learn more about the family. It was one of the most interesting conversations I’ve had in my life. I felt very comfortable here and they cooked breakfast and dinner for me. It was delicious and I am very grateful to have met them my second day in Vietnam. I was sad to have to leave and I wish them the best and hope to visit again one day.

There was nothing I disliked. I just arrived at night on a bicycle so I had a bit of trouble finding the road without my gps.

This is a once and a lifetime home/farmstay! If you have a family, or are traveling alone or with a group, do not miss this most welcome family. We felt like we were with our own families and at home. We learned so much about the plants and animals and lifestyle here. We have made friends for life.

Everything on this property was 10/10! Ice cold air conditioning in the rooms. We participated in making our traditional dinner. Excellent english speaking hosts with help on every detail of our travels.
