Ambrosia Heights Entebbe

Totally wonderful. Air conditioning was a blessing. So comfortable and good water pressure. A bit of a smell in bathroom.

Breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly, bed and room was comfortable, had a princess mosquito net all around the bed that felt secure, good wifi, loved the little balcony in room and got a beer from the bar and had it outselude, had my own kettle with teas and I got my washing done and it was returned clean and fresh.

Only got 1 bottle of water when I arrived, on day two I asked if I could have another as it didn't get replenished and I had to pay. Only a little thing but when you can't drink tap water I think that's important. Was off a funny lil road going past some mechanic shops, felt slightly uncomfortable as a solo female traveller to wander past and have the men stare and try to engage. Otherwise location was easy to walk to mall and Botanic gardens (15mins)

This was a comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast served in a pleasant patio area. Showers worked fine, and sitting outside on the balcony was nice. The location is an easy walk to Victoria Mall or the bus park to get a cheap ride into Kampala.

The location of this hotel is good. It is near stores and restaurants. The air conditioning is strong and if the cold air does not freeze the mosquitos then you have a great net that goes all around the bed. The breakfast is wonderful and the entire property is super clean including the rooms. Uber works great and the drivers know the hotel. Restaurant prices are reasonable and alcohol prices are cheap. Staff is very friendly.

There is no pool but other hotels in the area will let you use their pools. Short dirt road leading to the hotel is really bad and lighting is non existent so a flashlight on your phone will help at night. TV did not work and they said it had been out for a month. You get one small water in room when you arrive. No daily water after that. They do not accept credit cards as advertised. If you are bringing dollars try to make sure that they are newer bills 2017 and later.
