"A challenging stay with poor amenities, but helpful staff."

2.0

The kitchen had brand new kitchen utensils. Alexia, the attendee, was very kind and friendly. Despite being short-staffed, she made a strong effort to help us. She even carried a queen-size wooden frame all by herself.

Where to start… We were a group of five (three adults and two kids), and the room only had four hangers, four forks, four knives, four cups, four bowls, four chairs, etc. The kitchen lacked basic necessities like dish soap and a sponge—who brings that on their trip? The bathroom was equally disappointing with barely any water pressure in the shower and no bathroom mat (I had to use a floor mop cloth I found in the hallway outside my room). The internet was horrendous. Trying to watch Netflix on the TV was a nightmare—it took 10 minutes of buffering for just 2 minutes of movie playback. The WiFi signal was weak and would disappear randomly. The room had thin, translucent curtains on the windows and bright white lights in the hallways. For some reason, there was a security camera facing our window. Any movement, even a leaf blowing in the breeze, would trigger the camera’s bright flash for about 30 seconds. Sleeping through that was impossible. I tried draping a towel over the camera, but the wind knocked it down, so I eventually gave up. This in particular is what drove me to write this review. The beds were not comfortable; if you like hard mattresses, you might be fine. Guests were talking loudly in the hallway past midnight on a Monday night. It was a tough two-night stay, to be 100% honest.
