Great owner who assisted with parking our car Great position, spacious, had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.. beautiful example of one of the old cave houses restored

Matera is such a special place and our stay at Alla Mescita was perfect! The apartment was very large, clean and more than enough room for 3 travelers! It was clean and always cool inside - which great because we were there very beginning of September and the temp outside was hot. Our host, PIER, was so accommodating he brought us to a free parking spot and then drove us to our apartment and even carried our suitcases. He then showed us around and suggested places to visit - which was very helpful. The town itself is so beautiful - and so much to do. Wish we had more time to explore. If we ever make it back to Matera we will definitely stay here again and will book for longer than 2 nights. We did a lot of stairs here and got a lot of walking in. I highly recommend this accomodation and this city!

beautiful old house and super spacious. pier was so amazing and communicative. we tried his mozarella and it was a highlight for sure. super recommended for a peaceful stay in matera. location was perfect as well! thanks pier!

Die Freundlichkeit von Pier ist bisher unübertroffen. Das Apartment kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen, privater Innenhof, tolle Aussicht von der Stiege, bestens gelegen, sehr groß und gemütlich. Alles was notwendig ist, ist vorhanden. Den nächsten Aufenthalt verbringe ich sicher wieder dort.

Posizione fantastica, siamo stati accolti fin dal parcheggio auto da Pier, che con premura ci ha mostrato l'appartamento e suggerito quali attività fare nel soggiorno.
