Nozawa Peaks

Friendly staff, good atmosphere and everywhere was very clean Good kitchen facilities and nice lounge Super close to chair lift. Only 5 mins walk Staff provided free drop off to the bus at the end. Very close to a nice Onsen.

A little far from centre of town and restaurants although super close to chair lift. Only 5 mins walk Rooms smaller than they look in photos. With 3 adults the 16m2 room was pretty squeezy.

Wonderful staff - really helpful and friendly. They helped give us rides to dinner (when it was heavy snow out) and a ride to the bus stop. Always willling to make things easier for us during our stay. Also, accommodated our last minute laundry request. Place was overall very clean and tidy. Everything was maintained well and we slept really peacefully. Beds were comfortable and location was convenient (and very close to an awesome Swiss bakery and ski rental store). Highly recommend!

These Japanese homestyle places have thin walls and floors so some noise does travel so it's something to be aware of in case you need total silence.

Nothing, we had a great experience

Excellent location, family friendly, great atmosphere. Loved the tatami mats, futon. Staff really helpful. Great facilities for snowboarding (drying room). Food truck outside extremely convenient/yummy.

Unable to watch a movie to wind down at the end of the day without being worried about the movie rating / appropriateness of the movie for children who were generally always in the lounge area playing or watching a kids movie.

Short walk uphill to the chairlift, great location for skiing. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. About a 10 minute walk into the main part of town. Small heater kept the room plenty warm in winter. Shared kitchen facilities were great.

Room was basic, no tables, chairs or shelves to put anything on. Big cupboard was good for storing luggage though.

The room we got was spacious for 5 person, the location is good if you want to go to the ski resort just go out about 5-10 minutes downslope you will reach the bus stop. and just next to the hotel there is a okonomiyaki restaurant and just a bit further down there is ski rental shop there too. if you are going to this hotel recommended for you to take the bus(Nozawa liner) to Shinden rather then Nakano, as Shinden have similar distances with overall downslope, but Nakano have more upslope.

wall might be a bit thin, as my group reached the earliest for the first few days there wasn't any issues, but reaching towards the end, we can hear sound of the guest above us moving around, or maybe unpacking their luggage.

Clean, friendly, inclusive atmosphere

Kain was extremely helpful whilst planning our ski trip to Nozawa. All the staff were great during our stay and spoke English. The location is close to good restaurants, onsens, ski hire etc. You could even ski back to your accommodation if you were a confident beginner. The futon beds were very comfortable and it was fun to chat with other families whilst preparing food in the common kitchen at meal times. Shared toilets and bathrooms weren’t a problem. The facilities were very clean.

There wasn’t a laundry facility onsite but apparently there is one 5 minutes walk away.
