Nothing not to like

One of the best places we stayed during our trip to Japan. Traditional, spacious, comfortable, warm, clean and with extremely hospitable, thoughtful owners and staff who immediately made us feel welcome and helped us make the most of everything in Nozawa. Incredible location with great food, ski hire, lift, onsen, drinkable mountain spring and views practically all next door. Very short and fun walk to the town. We were a little nervous about having a shared bathroom but even that was fine. We were very sad to leave!

We liked everything!

The staff were all So welcoming and friendly on hand always to give advice or for a chat. The whole place was spotlessly clean and sharing toilets showers was not at all an issue as they were always available and squeaky clean. The shared kitchen was also very clean. The area for storing ski equipment was also very good and dried things very quickly . The location was really well Placed next to olive ski rental shop the Swiss bakery and the chair lift. Also a short stroll to the town and family Onsen.

The room was quite tight for space for family of four and luggage some hooks to hang coats or towels would help.

Tout etait bien

Everything! The lodge style vibe was wonderful. The location was perfect with a short walk to cafes, onsens and the ski lifts. Most of all, Cain was wonderful, hospitable and so welcoming!
