Interesting to experience a traditional Ryokan. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Bath house lovely

・奈良公園や東大寺まで歩いて行けるアクセスの良さ •繁華街と離れている立地の為、夜も周りが静かで過ごしやすかった ・従業員さんがみんな物腰柔らかく感じが良く過ごしやすかった ・宿泊する部屋はもちろんのこと、共有トイレや施設全体が清潔で気持ち良い ・朝晩食事をいただきましたが、全て美味しかった ・本館の屋上テラスがのんびりできて良かった ・共有スペースにウェルカムドリンクがあったり、その他にもお菓子や、本、書物、カードゲーム、自由に書き込めるノート等、楽しめるものがたくさん揃ってた •近隣のイベントに行く際に、カイロや、あたたかいおしぼりや飲み物をくれたりお気遣いが嬉しかった •記念撮影をしてくれ、帰る際に写真をプレゼントしてくださった ・お宿全体が良い意味で広すぎず、落ち着く空間 ・小物一つひとつ、装飾等凝っていてお宿全体に魅力がたくさんあった。外国人の方も日本人の方もみんな目で見て楽しめる空間だと思った •また機会がありましたら是非、泊まりたい

決して苦情ではなく、今後泊まる方の参考になればと思い書かせていただきます。すみません。 東大寺が見える個室露天風呂の部屋に宿泊させていただいたのですが、目の前が駐車場だったのは予想していなかったので、少し驚きました。 もちろん立地の関係がありますし、目の前に建物があるよりも全然いいと思います。 外側から姿が見えないように目隠しがしっかりついていて、シャワーは屋内で風に当たらずゆっくり身体を流せる、個室露天風呂は追い焚き機能もついていて、好きな時にいつでも入れるようになっている。サイズもちょうどいい大きさで、のんびりできて最高でした。ありがとうございました。

Lovely staff and attention to detail. We had a nice kaiseki dinner.

The room title implied a private onsen that came with the room but that was not the case. It was disappointing to learn that. I would adjust or clarify that the open air bath is not the same thing as having an onsen on your balcony.

Shower head in their ofuro was very good. Location.

Hotel pretending to be a ryokan. Avoid. Paid ¥45,000+ for one night expecting a ryokan experience. What I got was a tired hotel cosplaying as one. • Dinner was shockingly bad — no rice served as part of a Japanese dinner. Let that sink in. There is a small rice bowl that you can get cooked on the heater for 20 minutes - like how do you eat everything else while waiting? • Towels old and worn (attached photo). • Hot water takes 30+ seconds to come through - this was what staff told me after harassing me (they told me at first “use the other handle for hot water “). • Zero warmth or hospitality — felt like a budget hotel tailored to package tourists, not an actual Japanese inn They told me they set up futon from 6 to 8pm. Setup futon is lay a mattress and make bed. Anyway I vacated the suite for this. Coming back at 8pm I was surprised to see that futon is still not there, later at 8:40pm they came and told that staff is new, therefore they are late. Does it make any sense for this price? I don’t think so. One more thing - there are no natural hot springs nearby, so this is not an onsen. If you want a real ryokan experience in Nara, look elsewhere. The location near Nara Park is the only thing going for it (and the shower head), and that's not worth the premium price. For this money you can stay at an actual ryokan with proper service, food, and atmosphere.

Great location and plenty of nice amenities. Delicious breakfast and dinner, and a very nice room with private bath.
