Amazing Ryokan in a great location. Spotlessly clean. Japanese breakfast highly recommended! We didn’t use the public baths but the private pool was great.

"A really lovely first stay in a Ryokan, made spevial by the very attemtive staff."

Our first stay at a Ryokan, we were so well looked after, from the moment we walked in, to the time we checked out. The small touches made it truly special, a stocked fridge, treats on the table in checkin and after dinner, and all of the deer. Everywhere I turned, there were more cute deer!

There was so much information shared with us when we arrived, to have that written down for us would have been great. Things like when changing shoes, what to wear for dinner and all the aspects that make staying at a ryokan special.
