Baranda OCHO

Baranda is super nice property. I’ve stayed here twice and honestly love how nice both rooms have been. It’s also in a great part of town. Close to great restaurant and a little street market.

Good spot and good value for money

Took manager long time to provide the details for check in despite my emails and WhatsApp - this caused anxiety and wasted my time as I had to call booking.com- should reply and reassure guests that they will send the details Need a little attention to detail- looks new renovated but seems they has been some things broken (shower and kitchen unit bathroom draw) they should fix this as spoils the over all presentation

Location

Many things broken, shower handle was loose, sofa bed was broken. The host didn’t provide bed sheets for the sofa bed even hough the booking was made for 3 persons (flat has a double bed and the sofa bed)

Although we got clear instructions how to enter the building, there was a confusion with the apartments. They wrote us a wrong number of the apartment, which resulted me trying to open a wrong apartment and actually intruding somebody's privacy. Also, the responses to resolve the problem took long and this is not the kind of experience you want to have as a guest after a 16-hour travel. After finally I got into the apartment, I realized that it was only set up for 2 people although the booking was for 3. When I asked for extra bedding, the response was to go and get them in an empty apartment downstairs for a night and that housekeeping would fix it for us the next day. Never happened. In addition, it was extremely loud both nights and sleeping there was near to impossible. And finally, the bathroom was really unsanitary, I am attaching a photo of a moldy ceiling. It was disturbing to go into that bathroom.

Everything was great except quite a lot of mould in the bathroom.
