Huy-Homestay

It’s got a great location just outside the town and with great views. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the rice fields. Huy is very friendly and accommodating. He will help you book tours, buses etc and makes a nice breakfast as well. Highly recommended!

Huy is great and i was feeling that he was doing his best to keep the place atmosphere in good mode with a big smile :) 1. The location is distant and quiet with a beautiful view of the rice fields. So it is better to rent a scooter or bicycle (some barking dogs on the way to the place if you are walking, not a problem but better to know). 2. The room was big for the price i paid. 3. Hot shower with good water flow. 4. Huy have tours and bus so he can help with anything. 5. Have a delicious dinner for everyone in a good price (vegan/vegetarian/carnivore) just tell him before 16 so he knows to cook for you). 6. Have sitting area in the garden so you can chill with the perfect view). 7. Has air conditioner in the room if needed.

All is great. just make sure to close the windows and toilets door at night and to have with you some mosquito repellent :)

Amazing place in a great and beautiful location. Huy is a very kind and enthusiastic host and is happy to help with everything, and chat with you. Great breakfast and the room was nice. Will come again if I'm ever back in Phong Nha

Huy was the best host and an absolute legend! He goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy with everything during your stay. I initially booked for 7 days but stayed 13! The mountain views and the sounds of the frogs and wildlife at night made it an incredibly therapeutic trip for me. Can recommend!

The beds are hard. But a minor inconvenience given the host and location.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. He helped us with laundry and rented us a scooter. We stayed in one of the bungalows which is nice but it had a few flaws; the main one being the toilet that doesn't flush but you can manually make it work using the cistern. The homestay is in a great location being away from the busy town and among rice fields. The included breakfasts were very tasty and it's only a short scooter ride into town where there is a great variety of restaurants. We were able to check in very early too which was helpful for our stay.

The room was a bit cold in the night and we only had a small sheet but we asked the owner for another blanket and he then provided us with a big duvet for the following night. We arrived very early morning (2am) and there wasn't any taxis around so we had to walk (around 40mins taking a pretty dodgy route) but we should have prebooked something so not the fault of the homestay, just worth noting if you are getting the overnight bus to bear this in mind

Huy is one of the finest man in Vietnam. A beautiful home stay with wonderful hospitality. Quiet and peaceful, would definitely recommend!

This Homestay owner send us off he said because we booked a standard room and with this booking they not accept the guest arrive with bycicle only accept if I book higher rate room (like they bungalow ) He sai we are foriners so we have money ,This is Disgusting I think he want more money from us . I will write on social media ,Im not recomended at all becarefull with this man .

Huy is helpful and honest about the facilities of the room. The room was comfortable and a good value for money. It Had hot water and AC. Beautiful surroundings with rice paddies in the countryside. As breakfast, we had rice with topping and rice cracker for the first day. It would have been nice to have coffee or tea with it. The second day we had Bahn mi.

It is just that Huy was not exactly happy with the fact that we did not book our tours with him and he expressed it several times...
