Villa Senyum

We love how private the villa is. Ours was right next to the pool. The weather was a bit of a bummer but there's nothing anyone could do about it. Otherwise it's perfect. And we found a quaint little eatery a few minutes walk from the villa - Alle Kapella. Great food and awesome hospitality!

There were lots of mosquitoes at the villa. Perhaps a mosquito coil could be provided for those who want to use it.

Nice quiet location, but close enough to walk to the main nightlife. Room very big, nice bathroom. An outside kitchen and decking with dining table was useful.

The staff were super friendly. The grounds are very beautiful and lots of space between bungalows so it feels very private. The swimming pool is lovely and I had it to myself for several days. I also loved the outdoor kitchen and the spacious patios. The lighting in the rooms is nice and the traditional decor is lovely

It's a little rough around the edges. For example The bathroom floor wasn't super clean, low water pressure etc. But it's not a deal breaker.

The location

The room didn’t have bugs protection , the bugs have been very disturbing through the night , I couldn’t sleep and I wake up with bug bites all over me , in addition to the bathroom issue , where it’s not even covered with a ceiling , at anytime where I went into the washroom I used to see some type of a big insect .

The gardens, staff, location

No warning about the construction right next door. Couldn’t sleep with ear plugs. Felt unsafe.

Very nice property in Bewara area which is a bit more quiet than the center of Canggu. Safe is big enough to store a small laptop. wifi works well. Kitchen has a water dispenser and a big fridge. Accomodation is close to the beach and different surfing spots.

There was a loud construction next to the property, but this is quite common nowadays in Bali.

This villa is so nice omg like a little paradise place!!!! I urgently moved from my previous villa because of the moldy and smelly bathroom and Villa Senyum was a pleasant place to switch to. I wish I had booked with them earlier for a longer stay. Seems like they just had renovation because my mattress was so firm and comfy. I had my own brand new kitchen outside with all utensils and dishes (even though I didn’t cook). A huge fridge, a clean nicely decorated room. The bathroom was a huge size too. I loved waking up to birds singing in this little garden resort. It’s located on a quiet street even though it’s so close to the ocean and other places. The personnel is very friendly too. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay there again!

A basic clean good sized room. Handy location in relation to shops, restaurants, etc... Air conditioning worked well. Very polite and helpful staff.

WiFi was not very strong. the shower took a few minutes to heat up and the pressure was poor. The bathroom (being partially open) air tended to have a lot of mosquitoes.
