Bamboo Pool and Lodge

Stefan and Julie have created a beautiful jungle oasis just 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Bocas town and on a walking distance of some of the nicest beaches and beach restaurants. The friendly hospitality offered by the owners makes one feel at home. The value for money of this small bungalow resort is much better versus what you can get in the town center and on top of that you will have a great night sleep because there is no noise of "nightlife". If you want to join the party atmosphere though it is only a 2 dollar taxi ride away. Did I mention the pool?......

The property is fantastic and new, everything is extremely well maintained and super clean, the rooms are extraordinary, extremely well equipped, detailed and have a lot of privacy. Also it has a wonderful deck and pool with the best amenities. I have stayed in many places in Bocas and this one is the best by far. The location is excellent with a taxi to Bocas Town only costs 1$ and you are away of all the noise, but not too far away. The hosts are also very friendly, helpful and un intrusive, making you feel like home. 10/10 place.

Had a great stay here. The owner sent an information brochure in advance about the accomodation and the island, really super! If you worry its far from the center…don’t. Its a bit over 10 minutes by taxi and only costs 2 dollars. In return you get an accomodation thats brand new and clean, including a nice bar/kitchen at the pool! The town Bocas itself is a bit messy in Jan 2025 with open roads/construction and a lot of dirt and water so it was a blessing to stay here. The bungalow itself has everything you need: good shower and bed, AC, etc. and is nicely decorated. Certainly recommend this place!

We enjoyed visiting this modern and newly finished accommodation. It was in a perfect location between town and the local surf spots. Connected by a newly paved road, with a gated system, it was easy for us to nip around on our bike and park it safely overnight. The hosts were so very accommodating, very fast to reply to any request we had and a pleasure to deal with. The accommodation itself was very private and quiet, you occassionally hear the road but mostly hear the lovely sounds of nature. The rooms are very clean, with all new fittings. The air-conditioning was a welcomed addition on the more humid days. The large pool and outdoor kitchen were impressive, and we enjoyed these to ourselves. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Whilst there is no security issue, we thought the pvc door lock on our cabin could be improved to give an extra sense of safety when leaving belongings in the rooms. This being said, the property is fenced with a private gate, so there was no huge concern.

The host is very friendly! The pool and the view are absolutely spectacular—you can even spot monkeys just a few meters away, making the experience truly unique. The kitchen is a dream for anyone who loves cooking, fully equipped for all your needs. The room is perfect: super comfortable, with all the amenities and filled with thoughtful little details that make the stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this place!

In one word: wow! It's a little jewel hidden under a huge bamboo tree! The place is incredible, the room very comfortable, and the whole team really friendly and attentive. The place is brand new, the rooms too and you can feel that the owners have put all their heart into the construction, every detail has been chosen with great taste. I'll be back without hesitation and I recommend it 200%!
