It was ideal - a one bedroom cottage with all the amenities including a wood burner for heating and a good supply of firewood with more available as needed. The location worked for us - on a farm. Nice & quiet and a great place to just relax. We were able to do as much cooking as we wanted. Breakfast was supplied - homemade muesli, a lovely loaf of bread including a selection of spreads, & bacon & eggs.

There was no microwave - not really an issue. We found the wood burner exceptionally efficient - meaning the bedroom was too hot for comfortable sleeping for us.

We arrived to Alloa Petite and the light was on and the fire was stoked and ready for us, as we arrived quite late. We loved the breakfast provided, the fire, as it was cold. We were there for a wedding and Tracie the host offered us a ride and pick up. Tracie and David were very hospitable. Allow Petite was cozy, it had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Love how welcoming the home is. The fire was laid, there was baking and fresh homemade bread for us, along with bacon, eggs, bread, milk and muesli. The location is great for exploring the local area. The home itself is gorgeous - we loved the style, the artwork and appreciated the lovely linen - a beautiful to space to retreat to and relax for a few days or to use as a base. Tracie was great to communicate with. Check in and out was really simple and explained clearly, and Tracie checked to see what our needs were beforehand so she could prepare the property accordingly. It all added up to a property where we felt very welcome.

We were in the area for a wedding, check in was completely seamless. The house and location are absolutely beautiful, very quiet and amazing stars at night. Breakfast was delicious, lovely homemade bread and granola. Everything was perfect cannot recommend more! Great list of recommendations in the area was also provided. We went Apple picking!

Bacon and fresh eggs were available but the induction stove technology defeated us. The bread and coffee were delicious.

Bernard is disabled though mobile with a walking stick but was unable to use the shower for the want of a handrail.
