FRWe stayed 8 nights at Aayu Stewart and overall had a good experience. The accommodation is charming, very well located in George Town, and situated in a quiet area while still being close to everything. It definitely has great potential. The place is clean and cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The bedding is comfortable and cozy, and the mattress in the double room with the shared bathroom had just been replaced, which made our sleep even more pleasant. The team is absolutely lovely and welcoming.
However, there are a few points worth noting. There is only one toilet/bathroom (in the same room) shared between three bedrooms that can accommodate up to seven people - having just one WC can be quite limiting. There is a washing machine available, which is great, but only one drying rack for up to five rooms (around 12 guests), making laundry logistics a bit complicated. The kitchen also lacks sufficient tableware - for example, only three mugs for potentially 12 people. Despite these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the comfort, cleanliness, and kindness of the staff. With a few practical improvements, this place could be truly excellent.
