The food and service were excellent. The whole lodge complex was very clean, well presented and felt very safe and secure. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Good location for Kilimanjaro Airport, safari or climbing Kilimanjaro.

There wasn't a door or curtain to separate the toilet and shower from the bedroom. Slightly hard to find in village location.

Aug. 2025. Super friendly staff, modern facilities, great dinner (though it took a while), and (eventually) free airport drop off service.

A bit hard to find but we were able to call and they explained to our driver how to find the house. Food/drink prices were relatively high compared to all other places we stayed in Tanzania (including fancy lodges). They tried to charge us for airport drop-off even though the website (still) explicitly says "free shuttle service to and from Kilimanjaro International Airport". We had to spend almost an hour arguing with the lead staff person who wasn't authorised to make the decision but had to call an owner/manager who wasn't always picking up the phone. They finally agreed that we wouldn't have to pay, but it was stressful wondering if they would just not arrange a pick up for our early flight.

Very organized Staff can afford to arrange customer's requests.

Cibo ottimo. Cucinato al momento, ampia scelta di cucina internazionale. Ho mangiato i migliori pancakes dell’Africa. Staff cordiale, navetta gratuita.

Posizione terribile, prezzo alto.

It’s close to the airport, very convenient. And the staff. We loved Valerian!! He was so kind and has great cooking skills
