Katiti Lodge

I liked the comfortable.

I didn’t like the location and information about the free transfer. I needed to pay another transfer!

It was clean and comfortable. I arrived at 3 am and even at that hour they were welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was included as well as airport pickup

Katiti Lodge is very small (five rooms) and in a very unexpected location down a rough road. It doesn't seem like you are going to come across a lodge but then you enter a tiny compound and the staff greet you with a towel and a juice. We were the only ones staying there and we chose the location because it was relatively close to Kilimanjaro Airport and cheaper than the closer hotels. Dinner was very good with local options, but made to order so it took a little while. We had to leave at 4 in the morning and we were worried about the airport shuttle driver showing up on time, but he was right there to greet us at 4am and off we went in a nice van with a careful driver and he got us to the airport with no extra charge on top of the hotel fee. They ought to put up a sign or two along the road to get you there but it is a nice spot to stay when heading to the airport from your safari.

Ideally there would be a partition between the shower and toilet and like I said above a sign between the main road and the lodge to let you know you're on the right track, but it is a lovely and small lodge.

The Katiti lodge was the perfect place to stay after safari. We needed someplace comfortable, clean, and close to the airport. The staff was incredibly helpful, responsive, and on top of everything. The restaurant was great and had a wide range of food. Everything was very clean. We would definitely recommend staying here. We even came back a second time. Thank you katiti!

very nice reception. very clean and friendly staff. If you live near the airport and want a very reliable pickup, I highly recommend them.

The property is new and very clean. The staff were kind and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast and our dinners were exceptional. Very flavorful! The hotel is also fairly close to the airport. I would recommend to anyone visiting Kilimanjaro!

Not so much a dislike but the property is off the road a bit. I came in at night so was a bit nervous but once the doors to the hotel opened, I was at ease and felt very comfortable.
