המיקום קצת בעייתי, חייבים מונית סירה לכל דבר קטן והאופציה היחידה להזמין מונית כזאת זה דרך הבעלים בעלות יחסית יקרה למה שמקובל באיים. צריך להוסיף כסף על כל דבר קטן בארוחות, היה עדיף שיעלו קצת את המחיר ויכללו את הכל בפנים...

La ubicacion es perfecta, perfecta si quieres descansar, desconectar y huir de la aglomeración de gente

Could be a perfect spot for vacation, with beautiful surroundings, water activities (kayaks, SUPs, etc.), but unfortunately doesn't live up to a 4* standard with a level of service and attitude. Just read some very defensive responses to some critical reviews to illustrate that.

Stained towels, rusty pans (which was replaced, but we had to go and take it ourselves instead of being delivered to a room), no reception (upon arrival, had to wander around the place with our luggage until we met someone to check us in), no hand soap by the sink, 2in1 dispenser in the shower only dripping, didn't manage to squeeze enough to wash my hair, no kitchen basics (salt, pepper, oil), construction in the area. Overall, couldn't help the feeling that the owners are very thrifty and just want to profit from you at every step of the way. For example, breakfast is included in the price, but you will only get some bread, butter, jam, fruit, a cup of coffee and a glass of juice. If you want something more breakfast-like with protein and fiber (eggs, bacon, vegetables), pancakes for children or another cup of coffee, tea, they'll charge extra. Never saw this anywhere before, especially for the price point you already pay (and in fact, probably wouldn't have minded to pay $20 more per night, but not feeling so exploited). And then there are sandflies everywhere, which are not the owners' fault, but very annoying...

Natalie and her husband were brilliant hosts. Super welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel garden is amazing and the dock was perfect to sit and watch the sunset. Breakfast and dinner were also very good good. This is the perfect choice if you want to be away from the crowds of Bocas.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Nous avons passés un magnifique séjour à Akwaba Lodge. C'est un vrai coin de paradis . Nathalie et Jean Christian sont d'une grande gentillesse et ils nous ont parfaitement conseillés sur nos activités +ils offrent une organisation de A a Z que nous avons grandement apprécié. Ils sont toujours disponibles et souriants . Nous avons aussi beaucoup appréciés les petits déjeuners et les repas du soir préparés avec soin. . Nous recommandons leur logement les yeux fermés c'est probablement l'une des meilleures places où séjourner si vous visitez Bocas .

L’accueil tres personnalisé par toute la famille , tout cela dans une démarche très professionnelle quant à la qualité de services . La qualité et la variété des repas , nous avions prévu d’aller manger sur Bocas , mais honnêtement ca n’a pas d’intérêt . Les hotes maîtrisent bien les excursions et les transferts sont calés à la demande

Natalie y su familia fueron EXTREMADAMENTE amables en todo momento. Nos ayudaron a organizar cada dia, con los transportes y las actividades. Todo fue siempre MUY puntual y fiable. Conocen la zona perfectamente y saben que recomendar. Natalie es MUY EFECTIVA!!! La comida muy rica. El desayuno muy completo. El lugar es INCREIBLE!!!! Nos encanto nuestra estancia alli! Supero totalmente nuestras expectativas!! Totalmente recomendable. Lo unico malo es que el wifi no llego bien a nuestra cabana en la selva. Pero es una cabana en la selva, se entiende perfectamente que la red no funcione bien. No fue un problema para nosotros. Si tuvimos que trabajar, fuimos al edificio principal y alli trabajamos y tuvimos buena conexion. Mientras, los ninos jugaban a juegos de mesa que tienen en el comedor. Lo pasamos super bien. The owners are very helpful and attentive to guests' needs. The breakfast included with the room was good. The evening meals were very delicious. Opportunities for tours to various places were available. Transportation to/ from the island was nearly always available through the owners arrangements. We enjoyed our stay at Akwaba Lodge. Beautiful setting.
