I had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel Senora in Katharagama. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was exceptional, offering a delightful variety of dishes that were both delicious and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. The rooms were affordable, yet didn’t compromise on comfort. They were not only spacious but also impeccably clean, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. For the price, the stay was undoubtedly great value for money, offering excellent amenities and service. I would highly recommend Hotel Sanora to anyone visiting Katharagama. It's the perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and affordability. Thank you to the team for making my stay so enjoyable—I’ll definitely be back!

The main Door lock of room I Stayed 101 was not working properly even though it's not a major concern it's a bit risky.

Nimantha, who had me checking in and out, was the sweetest person, it’s been a pleasure talking to him! Also, he was so kind to let me have a late check-out from the room so that I could gather my stuff after the safari. Amazing position of the hotel if you’re planning a Safari in Yala National Park.

Had to give a shoutout to the staff – they were absolutely amazing! Super helpful and really know their stuff. Whether you’re planning to visit the Kataragama Dewalaya or go on a Yala safari, they’ll hook you up with the best options at very reasonable prices. They even have someone who can sort out your “Pooja watti” for you. And if you haven’t pre-ordered food, no stress – they’ll get it delivered from a nearby shop in just a few minutes. The place itself is great too – clean, spacious rooms with hot water. For the price, it’s more than worth it. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, comfortable, and budget-friendly place to stay!
