Hotel Bennett Charleston

The building is beautiful but the staff is what made our stay special! Everyone is so friendly & helpful! Will stay at the Bennett again :)

Pool area and lack of lounge chairs. Also, having 5 empty cabanas at times but not letting them get used when there are no regular loungers left. Especially at 4:15 in the afternoon-

This hotel is beautifully decorated!! Its is grand and meticulously maintained. Every detail is well thought out.

We paid for the Kingsman Club which we liked very much - it is an upgrade for food and drinks in a private area served from 7:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. They were short staffed for one of the days and some of the food was empty and not replenished. Could not get drinks served. That was annoying since you pay quite a bit extra for that service. Also if you purchase the Kingsman you can only get your drinks in the club and not anywhere else on the property which made being at the pool and wanting a drink very inconvenient. You would have to pay for your drinks at the pool or go back to the Kingsman and get drinks to go.

Gabrielle food was sub par, risotto was dry,and sticky without flavor
