Salaam Space

The property was a overpriced for what it offered. There was very little privacy, and the room couldn’t be made dark enough to rest during the day. There was also no room service and no microwave oven, which made it difficult to warm up food. Basic amenities such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers were not provided, which are usually expected in most hotels. The bathroom door offered almost no privacy, and the room space was quite limited — I often bumped into furniture. As someone who is a bit claustrophobic, this made the stay slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, the beach was not private, and the presence of many people around made it harder to fully relax.

I absolutely loved hearing the waves the waves at night from my room and the beach being just a few steps away. Qantab itself is such a gem and Salaam is nestled perfectly between the mountains, but still close to the city. Also, stunning hikes close by!

- boutique hotel with "make yourself at home" feeling - cold kitchen (tea, coffee, fridge) + plates, cups and cutlery to use so one is free to have own meals - relaxed atmosphere and friendliness of host and staff - snorkeling equipment free to use - possibility of yoga classes - has a rooftop terrace and garden - beach proximity - just walk out of the property and dive in!

- I had a seaside view room near street (where streetlamps are) - omanis do not have darkening curtains - make sure that you bring your eye cover if you are light sensitive for sleeping

Its a beautiful sustainable clam and cozy place for anyone seeking break from a hustle bustle from their lives. Time moves slowly and at the end you feel peace.
