Voodoo House

Do not book this place - this place did not provide toilet paper, had more than 5 power cuts in 5 days, no running COLD water even on some days, absent reception when problems arose, expensive food and drink, no social atmosphere, and they only cleaned the room once during my stay. And first night a guy was having sex below me:)

Voodoo house was easily one of the best hostels we have ever stayed in. The location was 10/10 and near some great restaurants and bars. It was extremely clean, the beds were super comfy and it had a very calm presence, whilst also being social. The hostel dorm door opened out onto a private beach with hammocks and chairs and it was so so beautiful. The restaurant and rooftop bar area had a great vibe to it every evening and it was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Such good value for money in comparison to other places in Siquijor, offering both dorms and privates !! The food was amazing, some of the best we have had in the Philippines, and it was very reasonably priced! Michal, the host, is the most welcoming guy and he gave us amazing tips about where to explore, snorkel and dive on the island! He made our trip in Siquijor and we will definitely be returning to Voodoo and telling all our friends to come here! Best hostel ever !!!!

Nothing, faultless

Voodoo house is the perfect location to stay in Siquijor. Centrally located restaurants and bars on one side, beautiful beach on the other. The thing room was ideal, comfortable bed, good storage, food and coffee facilities, water also provided and a fridge,baking with powerful WiFi connection. I loved my time here so calm and relaxing, I could see the ocean from my bed. Gorgeous friendly helpful staff, who tended to every need. The restaurant upstairs was delicious. I would recommend and stay again. Thank you so much 😘🙏🏻

Fantastic beach front room and super helpful staff. Unfortunately let down by the bathroom being rather dated and the room smelled funny.

There is a bathroom outside that smells like sewage, the smell enters the room, so it is very difficult to sleep on the night because of this I woke up at night with 2 cockroaches, the room and the bathrooms are not clean every day
