This is an awesome place with fantastic personnel and owner. The rooms are clean and right at the beach with a great sunset view. The place has a roof top bar with great food and drinks. I had a bad cold when I arrived and the owner immediately took care and brought medication and tea. Sad, that we just booked 2 nights there.This is for sure a place worth to spend more time. Will come again! Highly recommended!

I had an amazing week at Voodoo House! The location is unbeatable, with a private beach area featuring chairs and hammocks that connects directly to Solangon Beach. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop bar—a wonderfully relaxed spot that left me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated in no time. Hosts Michał and Ellah were fantastic, always going out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and offering help whenever needed. They also provide scooter rentals, which made exploring the island so convenient. Highly recommended!

Perfect location at the beach with coconut palm trees, clean, no sounds from the street in the rooms. Fridge in the room. Perfect place to rest. Great sunset view :) Diving is also possible since the owner of the hotel is a scuba diving instructor. Great roof bar with excellent coctails, even composed individually

Everything was perfect

The value of the stay was great. I went right after a typhoon, so the beach was not ideal but this had nothing to do with the property management but rather nature. Mike is an awesome guy who is kind and sweet and the rooms are really nice.

Great beachfront location that's close to eating and drinking places. Pleasing views, even if we did travel during habagat season making the shoreline less than desirable. Still was a very comfortable place to relax, lay on the hammock or beach chairs, and stare at the horizon. Has a Voodoo Bar right above the hostel, can grab a drink or two without even walking far. A 2-min walk from JJ's which is perfect if you want to spend your Fri/Sat/Sun nights partying and chilling -- no need to drive home. Right across the street from Tipsy Bar - a pretty decent place for breakfast to dinner. Above all - wonderful staff. Amie, VooDoo is lucky to have you, thanks for being so accommodating to me throughout my stay (and for being nice to that one foreigner who directed his annoyance at you for the brownout lol)

Could be cleaner, though it wasn't disgusting like some previous reviews claimed. Either it's the bedsheet or mattress or maybe the curtain that tend to have a slight smell in some areas - maybe place it out in the sun or use stronger fabcon. Something for travelers to note: Siquijor is an island where power supply is a challenge. Expect regular brownouts --- tbh tourists cause it, and the locals live with it, so we need to be more understanding. I appreciated that the hostel turned on the generator whenever someone needed to shower - you just have to request it from reception/front desk.

The staff is extremely friendly ad helpful with everything. We had some troubles with the ferry and they called them to find out some informations we couldn't find out via internet. Ellah and the rest of the staff gave us a perfect stay. There is a bar across the street (Tipsybar) where you get good breakfast and at night it is a perfect place to stay. We highly recommend the accomondation and the area around as well. Thank you very much!
