GBI thought it was nice of the staff to call and see where we are as we arrived late around 9:30pm. The property was clearly very clean looking at the floors.
Unfortunately my blankets and my duvet cover smelled of old socks and I don’t believe that this was changed from the last guest. I wanted to stay another few nights but this put me off. Maybe the woolly blankets carried the smell! I also felt the staff were indifferent to me and definitely not interested in me. However, it is possible that because I also had booked a room for my Kashmiri driver They spoke to him.
INIn fact I didn't stay. After reaching the property and having physical experience of the location, I was not happy as the room was not having any Fan and even any TV. I demanded for upgradation of room for which they demanded 3500 per day which was quite expensive in comparison to location and facilities. So I opt to leave the property. However, staff behaviour was good, they were polite and customer friendly.
You should install at least one fan in each room and TV with running connection. I know that weather at Pahalgam don't need Fan, but this year's hot weather is demanding a fan.
INThe location is excellent 👌,rooms are spotless and clean , food is also good,the host and his family manage the place giving a homely ambience,it's actually a home far away from home. The hosts are simple sweet, and a very helpful family . Could enjoy fantastic morning walks alone .Absolutely recommended for any one who loves simplicity.
INI had a wonderful time here. The property is new. The room and restroom was neat and clean. The host family was warm and welcoming. Everything was quiet and peaceful, and I slept well at night. I had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!
