Osheen Homestay Sigiriya

The hosts are super lovely, helpful and welcoming. We had great breakfast and dinner one night - it was very tasty and traditional! Loved it. Location is great to discover places in the area! The host has a Tuktuk and is very flexible in driving you. You have everything you need in the room.

Everything. We had a night flight to Sri Lanked and we were planning to do some tours at arrival. We felt extremely tired after arriving so I asked the host if we could check in early already at 7 am, since we wanted to sleep. It was no problem at all. They were so welcoming and offered us tea and coffee. The room was comfortabele and breakfast was very delicious. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

Beautiful location, very peaceful, lots to see and do in the hotel as well as in the area (Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Safari). It’s lovely to walk throughout the vast property, see the butterfly garden and get a guided tour of the farm. Rooms are spacious and well maintained and the food was good. Hotel staff are friendly, attentive and ready to help. We were here for our holiday. Was great

I am giving Osheen Homestay 10/10 because although the rooms are basic the host Sudu is wonderful! He was so helpful in organising everything for us - a tuk tuk driver, an elephant safari, a driver to take us on to Kandy. Nothing was too much trouble for Sudu! Overall we loved our stay and highly recommend Osheen Homestay!

The room and bathroom were clean. Staff was friendly and the beds were comfy.

The room was size of a garage with not much floor space to keep your luggage or wordrobe to put your clothes considering it was a family room with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Moskito nets were too short so insects were coming in anyway. We ordered 2 veg dishes (rice and noodles) and we found chicken meat and bones in them. We return both but veg rice was still included in the bill. The staff wasn't speaking english very well so it was quite unpleasent experience to dispute it.

Nice room. A bit dark. Good breakfast. Staff not so informative.

Good size room. Good lighting, mosquito net, clean bathroom. Kettle in the room welcome

We ate dinner there, the Kottu was the best we tried! Kasun was also super friendly and kind. Thank you!!

The water in the shower was not super warm
