Pamlico Station Edgecamp

The room itself was very nice. Clean, spacious, well equipped. If what you are looking for is a “posh AirB&B” this is the place for you. Unfortunately, it was not as described. The lack of any onsite staff (which I would expect in a hotel) was particularly annoying when I came home after a day out to find the digital lock for my apartment no longer worked, and I had to wait on the balcony for 25 mins - first calling the conscience then waiting for the maintenance person to arrive. The “sporting club” is just more apartments at a different location. The concierge was also not available the first day or so (apparently I should have responded to her email the day before). As I said, the accommodation really is lovely. But, be prepared that it’s not a hotel, and not a water sports club.

The property was clean and spacious. The only things we didn’t like was the AC, lack of cable tv (news channels), and windows on the front door. The AC didn’t go below 68 and reset to a higher temperature after we went to bed. I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night and turn it down again. For the TV, you need to use your personal login for a streaming service. My husband wasn’t happy that he couldn’t watch the news before bed. The only other thing we didn’t like is that there are little windows on the door (

Beautiful and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly.

This is a perfect mix of boutique hotel and vacation rental. Interior is modern and clean, with lots of space. High end finishes, and very comfortable. The wellness deck is very nice, overlooking the sound for great sunsets. Our suite was adjacent, with a small private deck. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. This was a perfect base for exploring the area, and then come back to a comfortable and clean cocoon.

Terrific suite. Great location for visiting Pea Island reserve. Offsite service is great.

Fabulous hotel. Apartment absolutely wonderful. Felt very luxurious. Couldn’t fault anything about it. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Can’t recommend it enough.

This was probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed at. I loved the hot tub and cold plunge. The location was really good as well. I liked that you could see the sound from the deck.

I didn't like that the hot tub didn't work the first night, although they fixed it the second night. We couldn't figure out where the beach access was even though the website said there was private beach access.
