NLDe ligging van het appartement was top; dicht bij het centrum en de supermarkt. Maria was erg gastvrij en zorgde ervoor dat alles naar onze wens was. Het was schoon en we hadden veel voorzieningen die we konden gebruiken.
Het is wel een kwartier een stijle heuvel op lopen vanaf het centrum, wat in de hete zon toch wat zwaar kan zijn. De ruimte heeft centrale ventilatie en er zijn ventilatoren beschikbaar, maar het kon soms toch best warm zijn.

Maria is an amazing host — helpful, cordial and kind, it's truly a pleasure talking and dealing with her. Not to mention the little surprise treats and very useful local tips. The property is an isolated part of the host's home. It's a private space with access to a beautiful patio and a roof terrace with an amazing view over Funchal. The large bedroom is in the basement and there is a small sitting room with a kitchen on the patio level. Everything is designed and decorated with amazing taste, fully furnished with modern equipment and all the kitchen utensils, spotlessly clean and 100% ready for a very comfortable stay.
