Hotel Scilla

Well presented and clean room in an idyllic village setting. Steps from several places to eat and drink. Excellent view from the room. Very quiet and peaceful location.

Not much interaction from staff, would have been helpful to have a telephone in the room to contact the staffed hotel further into the village.

I was free upgraded in Hotel Sovana, which is from the same owner, while the first reservation in Hotel Scila was full. Absolutely fabulous place in historical town, with colorful garden, surrounded with olive trees and wineyards. Breakfast delicious and very reach. Stuff very kind. It is a super point on the top of hills, u can reach nearby must seen Pitigliano, Sorano and enjoy Saturnia termal cascade.

We booked this hotel but were upgraded to another hotel, which was pretty nice! The hotel was quaint and in a quiet little town. The rooms were decent, with a comfy bed :)

It said free parking but the street was blocked off and we struggled to find somewhere to park. We called the hotel but did not receive a reply, so we parked in outside on the street and in the morning our car was completely iced up! There was also no kettle and mugs in the room :(.

We were very kindly upgraded to Hotel Sovana. Delightful quiet clean town & hotel.

Nothing!

Not the hotel it used to be - just rooms with no staff, services or food. Comfortable enough for a night but disappointing for me given my previous stay here where it was a very good experience. Perhaps they are still recovering after Covid times.
