Lasai Villas

The design, the large private space, indoor-outdoor living, daily breakfast and cleaning, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, the bikes, the bathtub, the robes and the AC. The bathroom is covered and private but open to the outside, which we liked but some folks may not like it.

The mosquitos that would get into the bedroom (even with doors kept closed).

We had a fantastic stay at Lasai Villas from the moment we got to Gili Air to when we left. Greeted at the harbour and helped to get back by bike - nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are just wonderful. The Villa was incredible such a wonderful space even during torrential rain to relax and enjoy! The free bikes were great and we explored the island every day but we were always happy to return to the Villa and welcoming staff.

EVERYTHING. This is really an amazing place. The villas are very spacious, SUPER clean to every detail. Very comfy bed, huge bathroom w a lovely stone bathtub, storm water pressure and everything provided. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes etc. Slippers, bathrobe for bathroom and kimono for relaxing provided. Free very nice bicycles, they collect you from the port and bring you back to the port. Full checks of ph, chlorine levels etc in the pool. Well stocked kitchen w everything you can imagine including fully stocked drinks fridge, snack basket etc. The villas a fully maintained, modern design, ceiling fans exterior and interior, A/C, I could go on. It’s an amazing place from start to finish. But above the place being fantastic the staff is the most amazing and helpful even at 2am when we had a little medical emergency. The staff went beyond what was expected to be helpful. We had a special birthday while staying there and the staff decorated to whole room to perfection w fresh flowers. I cannot recommend this place enough.

If rainy it can be a little tricky w the small roads leading to the hotel. However if you follow the roads the staff shows you….everything will be fine.

The service was amazing! Loved all the staff and venue was great. They have new bikes as well which were included with our villa and that was so helpful!

Amazing private villa with private pool. Very cozy and well decorated villa. Ari, the host , and his team made our stay very smooth & helped us whenever we needed it . Great location : 5mn bike ride from the center of the island

Everything was perfect

Villa is huge with an amazing pool. Really liked people and staff there, always responded to any requests anytime by Whatsapp. Bikes are new and really convenient for getting around the island. Cleaning staff are very polite, efficient and always willing to help. They also replace mosquito repellent every evening. Villa is very private and romantic. Staying here was the highlight of our holiday!

Everything was amazing!!!

New, spacious, beautiful villas just a 3 minute walk from the beach. We originally had booked another hotel on Gili Air, but after one night decided to change due to noise from construction and rusty water filling the bath. Ari and his team welcomed us and had our villa ready within 30 minutes of booking. When staying on remote islands with limited infrastructure, I have found you typically have to temper expectations just a little, but this was not the case at Lasai. We were in villa 1, an absolutely beautiful room with cold AC, sparkling pool, soft and comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath. The photos on the website don’t do it justice! Very well insulated so you can’t hear the Muslim prayers at 0400, and light blocking shades ensured a restful sleep. Daily breakfast was served in the villa and a filtered water cooler made our stay extra comfortable, and the mini bar had great wine and other soft drinks. No request was too much trouble and they always replied quickly via WhatsApp. Another review mentioned the ‘delicate’ robes. I wore the robe daily, it was SO comfy and soft, and very well made. This place will forever be our go-to on Gili Air!

The actual villa is clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool is nice and the outdoor space a nice area to relax in. The issue is in the service that surrounds it

Having read the gushing reviews I was very excited for this stay but I must say the team has a lot of work to do. They have a tendency to enter the villas unannounced and without warning to bring mosquito repellant or breakfast which means they wander in at inappropriate times when you are expecting privacy. They need to install a phone or doorbell or provide some kind of advance warning before wandering in.. The bikes are new but are somehow still in poor condition. On the first day me and my wife took a bike, the tyres were flat on both and on one bike the pedals fell off and on the other the handlebars were not assembled properly. In fairness, they were very apologetic but it still meant we couldn't use the bikes that day as all the bikes were in a similar condition. The overall service is a bit amateurish which is exacerbated by the low level of English which makes communication difficult.

Everything was excellent. Host Hani and the whole team were lovely. Breakfast was great! If you need assistance with anything, they will help you set up your rides/tours in advance, order food, etc. Absolutely amazing hospitality.

The villas were lovely. Well decorated, private pool gorgeous, perfect temperature and a real treat. The bike hire was a good addition, made everything simple. Staff were so helpful and the included breakfast was a lovely extra

The location was a little hard to find with little signs and was down a very unsuspecting dirt track! But we found it and it didnt hinder our stay.
