Lasai Villas

It was just as shown in the photos absolutely stunning and the free push bikes were a welcome bonus. The staff were incredible, the included breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and the hostess Hali was fantastic!

Wonderful design of the villa. Extremely friendly staff. Honey went above and beyond to help. Great breakfast and quiet location . It was hard to leave this bit of heaven…

Location is a bit away from the main island live and the rid back with the bicycle a little challenge at night as the last bit to the villa has no streetlights.

The Good: 1. The villa is absolutely stunning, even more beautiful than in the pictures. The pool, room, and bathroom are all aesthetically pleasing, and every corner is Instagram-worthy. 2. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were so great that I wanted to take them home. 3. The shower pressure was excellent. 4. The massage to your room service was great although double the price of a normal massage is a convenient way to end the day at your villa. 5. The bikes provided for free were in excellent condition, with baby seats available upon request at no extra charge. Do double check tires. 6. Breakfast was always delicious and perfect for us and our toddler. 8. The location is convenient, with easy access to both the east and west sides. The nearby play café was a great quick stop for our daughter. 9. Lasai was incredibly helpful in organizing our boat trip to Gili and arranging our checkout for Nusa Lembongan, making the process convenient and trustworthy, there is a BUT in the didn't like section, so I recommend booking by yourself directly. A lot of the bad can be overlooked, BUT never felt such bad vibes at the end of checkout and settling the extras. 0 compensation was provided for the bad service and on top tried to overcharge us on everything. If they would spend as much time on the service as for overcharging maybe it would be a great stay. I mean also for the staff, not speaking English is no problem for us, but there was 0 effort in trying to be helpful and they seemed more afraid of the guests than anything.

Room for Improvement mostly solvable with professional staff: While I fully support eco-friendly practices, dirty towels on floor should be replaced with fresh ones. Professionalism is very lacking after addressing the issue; the manager quickly provided fresh towels. Important Notes: Make sure to check the following points to ensure you’re okay and can make your stay 10/10: 1. Coffee capsules only free on day 1 after that, you’ll need to pay. 2. Breakfast portions can vary in amount and may arrive cold. 3. Bedding is not changed unless specifically requested, even if dirty. 4. Towels left on the floor may be rehung rather than replaced, so always ask for fresh towels. 5. Ants, geckos, and mosquitoes can be an issue, especially if mosquito coils aren’t placed in the room daily. Always request them before sleeping. 6. The doors don’t close fully, leaving gaps. You might need to use dirty towels or kimonos to block gaps to prevent geckos from entering. 7. Be careful with kimono robes, as they are very delicate. We accidentally tore one, and they charged us 700k. To avoid this, I recommend not using them at all. For this even though a big overcharge where no such kimono is ever 700k. I agreed as it was my fault as I tore it. I was being very fair but check point 9/10. 8. There may be some confusion regarding communication. The villa's WhatsApp may not respond to English queries, and you might need to contact Hani, the manager, separately. 1 point of contact should be the norm. 9.When booking extra services, double-check the prices and confirm everything beforehand. 10. Settle the bill a day before check-out. We tried, but was only possible at the departure being surprised by the 700k, that was fine, the part we felt scammed was they charged our toddler who had no seat on boat as extra. Noticing this I refused to pay as all boat companies do not charge for kids under 2. It was very stressful as we had a boat to catch (deliberately or not).

Fantastic experience! After reading hundreds of reviews and looking for different places to sleep my wife and I finally chose this hotel with villas with private pools. Absolutely clean and with excellent service. The staff is always available. We also took advantage of the private snorkelling and in-room message service. Super services!

Lots of mosquitoes, the mosque nearby with the prayer starting at 4:30am but you can hear it all over the island so you can't do without in Gili Air. The bicycle service to be reviewed because they were all broken but for a few euro you can rent one.

Stunning villa, really wonderful staff, Hani cooked us an fab private dinner, arranged massages. So many great places for drinks and food in Gili.

The architecture of the villa, privacy, the pool and interior design. Very close to the beach, stuff was amazing. Special Thanks to Hany, such a lovely manager.

No professional service Inexperienced staff Bikes cant be used No TV Breakfest is 1 Star not 5 star, staff dont read specific requirements 250$ is a RIP off, only a nice Villa doesn't make it a Villa. loud AC Noisy neighbours loud music and Drone Sad, we had to experience this and paid so much money. Paid the most here and were happy to leave

EVERYTHING! The villa is simply gorgeous but not as beautiful as the people and the service. It was the highlight of our trip where we celebrated our engagement - we will absolutely be coming back!!

There’s honestly nothing I would change it was 10/10 perfection.

Lasai Villas made for a fantastic stay on Gili Air. These new, modern, and well equipped villas are decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, great shower, and fantastic outdoor seating area with private pool. Very pleasant breakfast delivered to the room every morning on request which was great. Hani, our host, was exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us! I’m not sure she ever left the place, as she was always on hand to help and advise.

The *free* bike service is such a great way of exploring the island. However a few of the bikes need a bit of a service. We found a few flat tyres, a few weak brakes, and a few loose handlebars. Luckily there are so many to choose from!
