The staff went out of their way for us. The stunning views

We were the only ones there. The very long trip on a dirt road.

The entire staff was very very friendly, helpful and professional. We all felt very comfortable and secure. Our mistake was to book only one night. We will most certainly come back, but then stay for at least two nights.

The food and service (especially Mpho, the waiter) was good. The best part is the game drives - Solly is friendly, knowledgeable, and a good spotter of animals. We saw four of the big five (Lion, Buffalo, Rhino, and Elephant). All inclusive means, only meals, all beverages are at own cost. Overall - good value for money.

Finding this place is like an extreme sport - even after following the directions on the website. Avoid traveling to the place late, in the dark. If possible, use a large car, i.e. 4×4. Recommendation to Entabeni: Place the pdf directions that are on the Entabeni website on bookings.com.

Location and friendly staff.

Facilities were poor for the so-called 4*. I was downgraded from Mountain Lodges due to blocked roads, and they didn't bother to discount my rate at all. There was no water provided to guests either in the room or dining areas, unless purchased. They had no decent coffee, only intant coffee. Considering 4* and the expensive rates, one would expect them to afford a filter coffee machine, or be able to make a Cappuccino. The food was average, and beef very tough The hair dryer in my room didn't work. The tent flaps were exceptionally noisy all night due to the wind, and couldn't sleep. And the tents were very cold.. Unfortunately not value for money, and a serious downgrade from what I paid for.

The meals and safari drives were all inclusive. Although we were surprised to have to pay for our Cokes and bottled water at meals. The setting on the lake is beautiful. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and comfortable.

We followed the directions that were given on the booking site and it ended up being to the wrong entrance. We had to wait for a driver to come from our site and pick us up and take us to our lodge.
