Belle Etoile - Celestial Hideaway

The place was great and the views were exceptional. The host was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is a little hard to get to because of the hills and the road. If you have a vehicle, I would suggest something like a 4 wheel drive. Getting drivers was a bit tricky and expensive.

Our four-night stay at Belle Etoile Villa was absolutely unforgettable! The highlight had to be the breathtaking views of the Piton right from our balcony—it felt like a dream waking up to that every morning. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and furnished with great taste. The bed was super comfortable, making it hard to leave each morning. A special mention goes to Calixto, the host, who was warm, friendly, and always willing to help. He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We truly wish we had more time to stay and enjoy this little slice of paradise. One thing to note is that a 4x4 car is essential for reaching the property and exploring the surrounding area. The rugged terrain adds to the charm, but you'll need the right vehicle to get around comfortably. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place more and can't wait to return!

Calixto was an awesome host, friendly and helpful. The place was great value for your money. It does require a 4 wheel drive to get there, but it was well worth it. The sunsets on the balcony were great.

One of the most breathtaking places we were to. We enjoyed the great Views every morning! The host was very helpfull and helped us with anything we needed, even told us stories and explanations. The beautifull forest surrounds the place all over and you can feel the breeze. Even, we were given fresh papayas and bananas from host :). All the attractions and beaches are within 20min drive. The placed is well furbished with new furniture.

This is just Info: be aware that last 200m are steep to reach the house by car. Unpaved road. We did it with small Toyota but a car with higher clearance (e.g. Suzuki Jimmy) is recommended. 4x4 is not a must, my view.

The requirement of renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle should have been on the website. The driveway to the property was very rough.

The location is amazing! We couldn't get enough of the view. It's absolutely stunning. The property is spacious and has everything you need for a lovely break. Calixte was a great host - we loved hearing all about the fruit and veg that he grows on site and we were lucky to try the guava, bananas and papaya. Delicious! There isn't any aircon at the property but you don't need it as it's cooler up in the mountains with a lovely breeze. The bed is really comfortable and the bathroom is huge. If we return to St Lucia we would definitely return to Belle Etoile - we loved every minute of it and were sad to leave.

You will need a 4x4 to get up to the property. This wasn't at all a problem but worth mentioning if you're coming in a hire car. The road is bumpy and steep but absolutely fine (and only the last 1 minute of the drive) and our little Jimny managed fine.

Calixte was an awesome host and made sure we were well taken care of while here. The view from the room was one of the best views I've ever had in my life and the spot itself has more than enough to make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

The road up to the house is quite bumpy, just make sure you have an AWD car if staying here!

The picture online can't do the view any justice. The room and the balcony have a mind blowing view of the Petit Piton, could sit there for days staring at it. Very large room, lovely mountain breeze. Great kitchen facilities . Would highly recommend.

Only the last approach of road to apartment. Steep and very rough, but we coped fine just drove slowley. We didn't have 4 x 4, but it was a jeep style automatic car so slightly higher than a standard car.
