Belle Etoile - Celestial Hideaway

The apartment is a gem at the top of a hill, it was very quite and relaxing. You have the option to sit inside or outside to enjoy the view.

There isn’t a proper road to reach the property, so your ride there will be bumpy but that’s not different than in any other areas in Soufriere. At night time as soon as the sun is down you can hear the sound of the wind on the trees.

It is a little out of the way. But I wanted to be up in the rainforest.

Belle Etoile is a pretty special place to relax and unwind.  The view from the apartment is incredible and it's a very peaceful area to stay in.  Everything in the apartment works really well and the Wifi connection is fast and reliable.  The bed is very comfy, with an amazing view to wake up to!  It was really inspiring to talk to Carl about his garden and to have him share his knowledge about the different crops he's growing.  We felt very connected to nature at Belle Etoile!  The location is also perfect for walking.  If we had longer, we would have definitely hiked some of the local trails.  Cheers for a chilled out couple of days!

Wonderful place close to all the main attractions in the south of the island! Large and comfortable room with amazing views of the Petit Piton. I loved watching sunset from my balcony. Calixte is a warm and helpful host. Would definitely recommend!

-Belle étoile benefits from a special connection to the volcano, resulting from a pure energy that is highly penetrative. -I was there for 2 weeks, i recommend any of those 3 different apartments for people looking to be inspired, replenished, and to receive grace. Or looking for truthfulness in their Life, they can experience benedictions. _This haven easily doubles as a retreat for meditation, yoga, holistic wellness, and to revitalise. -Facing the breathtaking iconic pitons, a sacred mountain, and lush greenery views all around . The main attractions of the island are within 2 miles. -Calixte the Owner grows an organic orchard with a of very large variety of fruits trees and vegetables and herb garden that surrounds the property, he is very generous in sharing all those crops. A filled fresh fruits basket awaits you on your arrival. He even concocted for me a delicious sorrel-Hibiscus juice infused with spices, all from the vast orchard surrounding the mountain here ( Calixte is well versed in fasting and offers various combinations of organic herbs and drinks extracted from his garden, depending on your need ) -Location is ideal to witness both sunrise and sunset spectacles. Effortless and prompt communication with the host during all my stay. Always eager to please, very service oriented. -The top suite was expansive, airy, very bright with a lot of windows with various beautiful views, modern with new furniture, very comfortable bed, equipped kitchen where i could cook all my meals , large shower bathroom, impeccably clean. Very large balcony to relax, serene atmosphere. Views are outstanding. -The nature of this place is one of purity and love, and for me permitted a shift in conciousness. I am very grateful for this unique experience, and would love to go back ! My interest was to recuperate ( i was exhausted on arrival ) and to meditate in pristine nature and i was overjoyed with all the gifts that i received.

Beaches are a 15 to 20 min. drive, but the mountain views there are well worth it.

Belle Etoile is a beautyfully located accomodation in Soufriere. Spacious nice room with large balkony and vieuw. Nothing is missing and host Carlixle does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended! The access road is a bit a challenge and only be done with a 4 wheel drive. If you don’t get it right the first time, call Carlixle!

That is a hidden gem in St Lucia. Absolutely love our stay here. Let me list a few point that we really appreciate: 1) communication with the owner prior to arrival 2) we provided an estimate arrival time and Calixte met us and help with the road to the property. 3) absolutely beautiful atmosphere and the million dollars view from the balcony! 4) spotless room, kitchen and bathroom. Like the soft 5* hotels towels. 5) fresh fruits and flowers in the room and herbs from Calixte garden - he gave us.

Nothing. Just a note: you would really need 4x4 car to fully enjoy and explore the area.

Calixte and Sharmaine were very welcoming, we were met at the power station down the road by Calixte, to show us the last stretch up to the villa, as it’s a bit tricky to find at first, 4x4 is advised as quite bumpy. We were supplied with plenty of fresh fruit from the garden, including the sweetest pink grapefruit we’ve ever eaten. We were staying in Villa 1, the top right apartment on the photo, with stunning views from the balcony to the jungle valley below and of the Petit Piton. The bathroom is a very spacious wet room and has a huge window also with great views. The apartment is very tastefully furnished with everything needed in the kitchen. At night we could leave all windows open with the mountain breeze giving us a comfortable rest, without having to worry about mosquitoes. Although there are mosquito nets on all the windows and sliding door to the balcony. This was great, and a welcome change to the humid days. The property has a professionally set up therapy room on the ground floor with a massage couch and chair. Sharmaine is a qualified therapist with her own business and I enjoyed the best message ever. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and had a very relaxing time, wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for a great stay and your superb hospitality.

The one thing I missed was somewhere to dry our beach stuff on, but this was mentioned to the host and was promised to be provided.
