⚠️ DANGER: WORST EXPERIENCE IN SRI LANKA! ⚠️ ​STAY AWAY FROM THE FOOD! While the rooms at Whistling Thrust Cottage are renovated and okay, THE KITCHEN IS A LIFE-THREATENING RISK. My young daughter and I suffered severe food poisoning and ended up on IV drips in the hospital after eating here. ​The kitchen conditions are absolutely repulsive: ​Blood in the fridge ​Mold everywhere ​Swarms of flies ​The unfriendly and unprofessional attitude of the owner made a bad situation even worse. This was by far the worst experience of our entire month in Sri Lanka. ​Also, beware of hidden costs. Despite the cottage being in the mountains, uninsulated, and only 10°C outside, the owner demands an extra charge for a basic electric heater. This should be a standard requirement for guest safety and comfort, not an extra fee. ​IF YOU STAY HERE, DO NOT EAT ANYTHING. They are serving dangerous, contaminated food that will put your family in the hospital. EXTREME HEALTH RISK! STAY AWAY FROM THE KITCHEN!

El sitio estaba chulo, limpio, con buenas vistas y el personal muy amable y servicial

La comida fue exageradamente picante y nos dio ardores en la barriga. Además el precio bastante elevado.

Oproti recenzim jsme byli spokojeni. Zustali jsme jednu noc, pokoj byl cisty, prostorny. V celem ubytovani jsme byli sami a moc jsme si to uzili. Vsechny pokoje maji balkon. Snidane byla take v pohode, prezili jsme bez nasledku 👍

Die.Nähe zu Horton Plains. Das Personal war freundlich.

Es war sehr hellhörig, so dass man abends und früh morgens andere Gäste gehört hat. Immer wenn jemand Wasser verwendet hat, gab es ein brummendes Geräusch. Unser Badezimmer war komplett nass, was nicht besonders einladend wirkte, vor allem weil es dadurch anfangs muffig roch.

Kort avstand til Hortons Plains National Park, hvis du skal dit slik jeg skulle.

Veldig kaldt på rommet. Ingen ventilasjon eller varme, så om natten og tidlig morgen var det veldig kaldt og fuktig der. Damen som møtte meg ved ankomst snakket ikke engelsk og det var heller ingen der til å hjelpe til med bagasjen.
