Great location, 100 meters from the railway station and 20 min walk to town center

The location was excellent - very centrally located, with train station, groceries and everything we needed within a 5-10 min walk and most of the sites and museums we wanted within 20 min walk. We walked everywhere. Our bed was very, very comfortable. The kitchenette was fine (needs a few more dishes if a family of four is using it, though, as there were only two tea-mugs and no cereal bowls). The room itself was great and we had super comfortable sleeps. The windows were very sound-proofed. It was silent during the night. The air conditioning was much appreciated in the 31 C weather! :-)

The wifi was best in the hallway and a bit weaker in the actual room. We did not realize we were going to do self-check-in. We prefer face to face for check-in. Once we figured out how to check in, it was fine. Those were the only drawbacks, though.

The location is ideal: almost directly across from the train station, 3 min walk to the PAM grocery store, and 5 min walk to the sea! And yet it was exceptionally quiet! You can walk to almost every attraction from this apartment, as well as to Trieste's abundance of cafes and restaurants. The apt itself is small, but very well organized and immaculate with a fairly well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a large elevator and it works well. And the AC was very much appreciated!

The advertised window is actually nearly impossible to access, unless of course you are 10 feet tall! If you climb onto one of the kitchen chairs, you can in fact get a city view! Also it wasn't clear in the advertising for this unit, that the bedroom is actually not separate from the kitchen area - there is a half wall between but no actual privacy. A door would have been nice! And, like many apts we have visited, there are no instructions for the washing machine, dishwasher or stove. We did in fact manage to figure out the washing machine, but please note that should you decide to use it, the minimum wash time is 3 hours!!! And the kitchen could use a little attention in terms of numbers of cups, glasses, and bowls. What we found the most frustrating (and this criticism applies to all 4 of the places we visited in Italy) is that we were asked for travel documents while enroute via train to the unit. Without access to data or WIFI, this is a very frustrating experience for senior travellers like ourselves. Why do they not ask for these documents at the time of payment which was 5 days before our arrival? Apart from these somewhat petty complaints, the apt worked well for our family of 3 adults.

Really well located modern renovated unit

Apartment overall was very spacious and bright with the great kitchen area. It welcomed us with coffee and sweets at the venue. Additionally there was a picturesque view out of the window. There is an elevator in the building , so it makes it easier to access the apartment. Host was very accommodative, provided all the necessary information and let us check-in a bit earlier. Location is top👍🏻 Totally recommend it. 10/10

The washing machine had a bit of a different concept, so it took us time to turn it on.
